Firstly, as many have mentioned, the number of ads is overwhelming. Every time you flick off of the app for a second there is an ad upon return, which disrupts studying greatly when copying notes from another app. I would much rather just have an ad that can’t be skipped at the end of each study session than the constant shorter ones which currently exist. Additionally it would be great to be able to sort the flashcards into different categories/folders. However recently I’ve been noticing some adverts to a AI calorie counting app that seems to be subtly promoting eating disorders with the imagery in the add and the whole idea of extreme calorie counting. This is extremely worrying for me as from my experience many people struggle more with eating disorders while under academic stress. People will be using this app during these stressful times, for example nearing coursework deadlines and exam periods. This kind of advertising on a study app could prove dangerous for many young students and teens. If possible it would be great to remove this advert. I’ve tried to report the advert itself or report it on the app and I found I could not do so.
