## What is StudyAhead?

You already know the exam date. What you don't know is what to do today.

StudyAhead turns that one date into a day-by-day plan, then shows you a single task at a time — the one that's due right now. Not a timetable to fill in. Not a list of forty things to feel guilty about. One task, one button.

BUILT FOR PEOPLE WHO LEAVE IT TO THE LAST MINUTE

Most study apps hand you an empty calendar and wish you luck. That blank grid is exactly where good intentions go to die. StudyAhead does the planning part for you, so the only decision left is the easy one: start.

HOW IT WORKS

• Add your exam
Name, date, and how long you want a session to be.

• Get a real plan, instantly
StudyAhead works backward from the exam and spreads the work across the days you actually said you're free. Every day between now and the exam gets its own task.

• Open the app, hit start
Today's screen holds one commitment. A timer runs while you study. You tap done. That's the loop.

• Miss a day? It replans.
Life happens. Skip a session and StudyAhead redistributes what's left across the time you have — no guilt spiral, no plan to rebuild by hand.

WHAT KEEPS YOU COMING BACK

• Streaks — the number that quietly makes you not want to break it
• Milestones at 3, 7, 14, and 30 days — earned by showing up, not by hours vaguely "spent studying"
• Reminders at a time you choose, with quiet hours that respect your sleep
• Progress you can see — sessions, minutes, and how ready you actually are

NO AI GUESSWORK

Your plan comes from a published, deterministic schedule — not a language model improvising. Same inputs, same plan, every time, and you can always see why a task landed on the day it did. When your exam is in nine days, you want a plan you can trust, not a surprise.

FREE, AND ACTUALLY FREE

The whole study loop is free forever: build a plan, run guided sessions, keep your streak, see your history. No ads. No trial timer on the core app. We never lock you out of your own study records.

StudyAhead Pro adds capacity when you need it:
• Prepare for several exams at once instead of one
• Set your own session length instead of picking a preset
• Finer control over reminders and availability
• Your full all-time progress archive

Pro is a monthly or annual subscription, with a 7-day free trial on the annual plan.

Stop planning to study. Just study.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3.4 — 2026-09-14

You can now step away from a session without losing it.
• Leave a session running and come back to it from the bar at the bottom of the screen.
• Stop early and save the minutes you studied. You can finish the rest of the task later.
• Started a session by mistake? Discard it from the menu.
Plus small fixes.

### 1.3.3 — 2026-09-08

A calmer, guided start.
• Every session now opens with one clear first move, so you never stare at a blank timer.
• Your very first session is just two minutes — one tap to begin.
• A quick check-in at the end of each session shapes what you do next.
• Miss a day and you'll see what it costs, plus an easy way back.
• Reminders now show the exact time you'll be nudged.

### 1.3.2 — 2026-09-05

Getting started is faster and simpler:
• We ask for your exam date first, so your plan comes together sooner.
• Naming your exam is now optional — skip it and go straight to your plan.
• A cleaner start screen when you haven't added any topics yet.

Also fixed: on the exam-name step, the keyboard no longer covers the Skip button.

### 1.3.1 — 2026-08-28

You can now try a full study session before we ever mention Pro. The one prompt to upgrade has moved from setup to right after your first session, so you see how the app works before we ask for anything.

Also fixed: a rare freeze on the very first screen for a small number of installs, and the after-session screen occasionally being skipped on your very first completed session.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-08-24

Topics: break an exam into the parts you actually have to learn.

• Add topics while setting up an exam, or any time afterwards from the exam's own page
• Say how comfortable you are with each one. Your plan puts more sessions on the topics you rate "needs review" and fewer on the ones you're confident about
• Every task now names the topic it covers, so today's session is something specific instead of "study for 40 minutes"
• Starting a session lets you pick which topic you're working on

Also fixed: readiness no longer counts minutes you planned but never studied, and signing in to claim an existing plan now checks your details before offering to merge accounts.
