### 3/5 — Good but limited- students don’t have the money to subscribe

*2026-05-19, version 1.3.17*

Is incredibly useful and I love the different testing methods but it it really frustrating that I cant make more than 1 folder and I’m limited to 10 decks. I understand the subscription is how you get money but I feel like just access to 2 more folders and maybe 5 more decks would be more helpfull. I specifically got this app because it looks cute and I could separate my decks into folders but apparently not enless I pay which as a student I just don’t have the money to.

### 4/5 — Good but there is one issue

*2025-12-14, version 1.3.15*

It’s great honestly for my school study notes I am a non payer there are no adverts and the app runs smoothly. Only problems is that u only get 10 sets of flashcards for free I don’t know if you can delete and make new ones but if you need lots of flashcards sets do not get this app

### 3/5 — Disappointed :(

*2025-10-01, version 1.3.15*

I’m very disappointed with this app. I only wanted to try it because it said there was a free trial, but instead it immediately charged me for a full year subscription that I never intended to purchase. It feels unfair and misleading to be forced to pay for an entire year when I didn’t want this. I hope the developers reconsider this kind of practice, because it really ruins the user experience.

### 5/5 — My main study buddy

*2025-05-22, version 1.3.10*

I just got the app and holy is it the best 😭

### 5/5 — Would definitely recommend!

*2025-04-30, version 1.3.10*

You get 1 free flashcard pack, I paid for a year which was £18, worth it my opinion. I get unlimited flashcard folders to make, which is especially helpful when you’re studying A-Levels sociology and history which have a lot of content, and different modules. It had different ways of revising such as your standard flashcard and matching up, which make it less boring to revise, as well as small things like daily quizzes on general knowledge which is nice. You can colour code folders for your flashcards which I love, especially when you correlate certain things with colours. I’ve tried many apps, and this one is the best in my opinion.

### 5/5 — Brilliant App!

*2025-04-14, version 1.3.9*

I have always been skeptical about these sort of apps but this app is amazing!! I am currently an a-level student doing biology, chemistry and criminology and this app has been a game changer and has and will save me so much time, i would DEFINITELY recommend it!!!

### 3/5 — Good but still buggy

*2025-03-20, version 1.3.8*

I use this for all my flash cards in uni, and I think the permanent plan is relatively affordable. The inorporarion of ai is also smart, and overall I like the app.

However it has bugs. When it detects you’re about to spell a certain word and you see the shadow of its continuation (e.g. if you want to write ‘different’, you start by typing diff and it tries to finish your word for you) the entire word gets deleted instead, and you just keep trying to type it over and over, and the only way you can stop it is if separate the word and then delete the space between it ( e.g. spell out diff erence)

### 5/5 — Game changer

*2025-03-17, version 1.3.7*

Take a pic of the text book page and this app will create flash cards for you. Wow.

### 5/5 — Really cool

*2025-03-11, version 1.3.6*

When I first got it I wasn’t completely sold, but I came back after a little break and saw how cool the app is. I can’t believe how much you get for the free version. I never usually leave reviews but this has made my revision so much easier! Would recommend!

### 5/5 — Amazingly helpful

*2025-02-20, version 1.3.5*

You can create multiple decks and its soo easy to use

### 5/5 — Amazing app! Helped me get top grades x

*2025-02-13, version 1.3.5*

What an amazing app. Genuinely.
I’ve always struggled with revising and staying focused on tasks - as someone who struggles with focus and motivation, this app has genuinely helped me so much.

The flashcards are easy to design, and super helpful! Whenever I used other apps, I found that the most I could do was 40 or 50 before I would give up and never touch the app again. But, just the other day I made 200 in one sitting. The layout of the app and the way it works really motivated me and the simple user interface really has helped me to stay focused! It’s brilliant!

The little notifications you get when someone uses your deck / likes it are really motivating for me / great dopamine hit. It always makes me happy and makes my studying feel worthwhile (which is what I’ve struggled with using other apps). It also makes me feel encouraged to make more flashcards and study more, knowing that in my revision others can revise too!

The web app is super useful also - I’ve found it incredibly helpful for when I’m revising on different devices.

This app has genuinely shaped the way I revise and I am so thankful for it. It’s become part of my routine now - about 50 flashcards each day on my way home and then a study session later where I first look through a deck and then make some notes (active recall / blurting) using the super cute note function provided! I’ve found this so helpful. I can actually remember things and I’m understanding things so much more than I used to.

The developers / customer service etc seem really lovely as well. From the suggestion area to user-friendly experience, you get a sense of real community. Thank you!

I would definitely recommend this app. My grades have improved significantly, and I’m happy to say that it has helped me in achieving those top grades. Please! Get it! You won’t regret it, I promise.

Thank you!

### 5/5 — Elite customer service and app

*2025-02-11, version 1.3.5*

Why’s this app genuinely so underrated?? It’s such an organised and adorable app and not to mention they do anything to help you 10/10 support service!!!

### 5/5 — Just what I need

*2025-02-08, version 1.3.5*

I have some tests coming up so I got this app to revise and it’s amazing not only can you make cards but also use other people’s so I spend a lot of time looking through the veterinary ones and I wish to learn a lot thank you

### 4/5 — Good

*2025-02-06, version 1.3.5*

I like this however with the free version you can only make so many Decks ect. and have one free offline one. Great that you can import ones from Quizlet.
I do wish free users could have accesses to the pen/drawing tool as I could use it to annotate pictures.

### 5/5 — Great

*2025-02-04, version 1.3.5*

This app is amazing for letting you learn your own way. You make your own flash cards and you can edit how they look and everything it’s really good and it’s so useful to make sure you keep remembering things

### 5/5 — The best flashcard app I’ve used !!

*2025-02-01, version 1.3.5*

I must have tried a million revision apps in my life, this is my favourite by a long shot. I love how organised everything is and the amount of options I have to make my cards more interactive. Other flashcard apps I’ve used like anki and Quizlet are just a bit too busy for me with all the ads and the layout. I bought the lifetime membership almost straight away and it was so worth it for me, I hope to keep using this throughout my degree. The ‘request features’ space is so useful and the many responses from developers to queries is a testament to the apps constant improvements.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Don’t download it

*2025-09-23, version 1.3.15*

I downloaded this app for revision and made my flashcards and went to press generate only to tell me I needed to pay this is so frustrating especially because it doesn’t mention anything about paying. This app is only will be helpful if you are willing to waste your money and if I could I would be giving it 1 star.

### 1/5 — No refund

*2025-06-29, version 1.3.11*

She asked for refund emails haven’t been responded to, poor service. App is okay but ui could be better.

### 1/5 — Didn’t like it

*2025-01-01, version 1.3.2*

Not any good

### 1/5 — Adverts??!!

*2023-03-27, version 1.0.39*

Adverts in a flash card app?? Bombastic side eyeee 👀👀. I’m trying to study and not get distracted. It had potential to be a good app but I got put off by the advert. That’s the reason for my rating. If it doesn’t bother you then go ahead

### 2/5 — Really well designed app, but

*2026-05-12, version 1.3.17*

You get really Scammy ads on this app. Like fishy pop ups on illegal movie download websites. That’s my only complaint. Otherwise great app

### 2/5 — Disappointing.

*2025-11-10, version 1.3.15*

Initially, the app seems great -but soon you’ll realise it’s just like all the others, hungry for money. You can only create ONE folder for free, then they want to charge you. It’s extremely limited and not accessible for students. I don’t have £50 laying around to spend on a flashcard app. Disappointed.

### 2/5 — Couldn’t start

*2025-01-28, version 1.3.5*

I couldn’t get the code from my email ! I tried resending it and it didn’t work

### 2/5 — Upload flashcards file

*2024-06-30, version 1.1.26*

Why do I have to pay money to do this? I think its ridiculous i reccomend you make that free

### 2/5 — Limiting simple features

*2023-10-12, version 1.0.58*

I understand that apps have to make money one way or another, but limiting how many decks you can make is just absurd. And whats with the no dark mode?

### 2/5 — Form Over function.. Again

*2023-09-17, version 1.0.53*

I can’t fathom why developers do this. Okay I can, people are dumb enough to think pretty = good. That is not in fact true. This app looks good. Really good. Probably the best looking flashcard app out there. But it is missing basic functionality. Like searching for community decks. You’re given “most pinned” and “most upvoted”. But that dies you zero good if the king of deck you need isn’t in there.

And they desperately want you to pay, locking critical features behind the paywall. Which is fine. But there isn’t enough outside of the paywall to tell me that this app odd with the asking price. Uninstalling this promptly.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great

*2026-04-15, version 1.3.17*

I love StudyPod, I’ve been using it for my revision for End of Years Yr 8, and since I got pro it is so easy to make flashcards and review them! It’s great for all ages and you can also follow people and see other people’s flashcards and pin them to your learning area. I’m gonna keep using this and I’ve already recommended it to my bestie! It also welcomes you in a different language every time which is so cutesy patutsy and I love seeing different languages and some of them that I haven’t even heard of before!

### 5/5 — Read it!!

*2026-04-14, version 1.3.17*

This app helps so much and if you go for the free version you still get plenty of things on it for free. I am so impressed 👍

### 5/5 — I’m a StudyPod convert!

*2026-02-19, version 1.3.17*

I installed StudyPod to memorize a very specific thing, now I’m becoming an expert in subjects I’d never heard of!

### 5/5 — Really good, 100% recommend

*2026-02-10, version 1.3.16*

Cute cartoon design which is sweet, flashcards that let you insert images, which is good for A-Level studies especially the sciences. The dev team quickly fix issues (within less than 2 hours from reporting) and are friendly & kind. Good repetition pattern for exam revision. Great app :D

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2025-11-23, version 1.3.15*

This app is a game changer. I am a grandma whom is learning Korean an I was looking for a logical , well made, and beautiful app. I looked at many on the web tried and tried and when I found this one , I was sold. I did the 3 day free and jumped at the pro version. It has so many features that I’m sure will help young students. I had an issue logging in and wrote to them and got a response right away. Super , super nice person and co owner. I’m absolutely grateful for a wonderfully made app.

### 5/5 — THIS APP IS AMZING

*2025-11-22, version 1.3.15*

I’ve only had this app for about a month, and it’s already amazing! Honestly so worth the £2.50 a month or whatever it is! It’s so cheap and so amazing! If I could donate money to the app I would 😂😂. Couldn’t recommend more the whole app is amazing!

### 5/5 — yes

*2025-11-12, version 1.3.15*

very GOOD 67

### 5/5 — quite literally the best study app

*2025-06-10, version 1.3.10*

this is by far the best study app i have used. Unlike others this app doesn't just limit you to certain things when having a free account. I can add pictures to my flashcards WHICH IM SO GRATEFUL FOR!! every app ive used do not allow for pictures unless you pay for premium, not only that but you can use bold and italic, as well as different layouts for the flashcards and ways to study?!! i LOVE how it doesn't restrict you to just normal back to front flashcards as that may not be everyones cup of tea and even disincentives people from using flash cards lol PLS USE THIS APP ITS SO GOOD

### 5/5 — Saviour app!!

*2025-05-29, version 1.3.10*

I love this app! I haven’t bought the plus version as I’m still new to the app (I’ll update the review after a while if my opinion changes). There’s lots of options of what kins of flashcards you can make, along with other people sharing their flashcards. Unfortunately, there isn’t too much of a variety, which is the people’s fault- not the app’s. If you’re looking to steal other people’s flashcards, I’d recommend Gizmo for that. Otherwise, this app is the best by far! It’s not all professional either, it has cute cartoons and just a very comfortable cartoon layout. It’s easy to use and also has a few AI things so you’re not left by yourself. Another thing I loved is how it welcomed me in Pashto which I thought was so cute (I’m half pashto!!). It’s also great how they reply to everyone single review, no matter if it’s good or bad. They try to help everyone, and I love that. If you want an app that lets you easily make flashcards along with stealing other peoples, pick this one because when I say I’ve been looking for a good one for nearly half a year, I’m nowhere near lying. Byee 💗💗x

### 5/5 — Incredible App!

*2025-05-28, version 1.3.10*

Love this flashcards app as it has lovely interface compared to other flashcard apps I’ve tried. Streaks feature is a lovely motivating factor to keeping consistent. Most of all the study plan feature is great way to organise different subjects all in one place
