I’ve got exams and I need to study, so can you please fix this before I crash out. ### 2/5 — Huge Potential *2023-04-21, version 1.5.1* Do you have any intentions to upgrade this app? The more I use this the more I want to use Quizlet, it’s just closed out on me several times and I lost so many of the flash cards I made. But I recently started school again, and I’ve made a large set of cards, and when I opened it up to study, the questions weren’t on the front. Only the answers were on the cards, it’s like the app didn’t save the front parts..... any help? ### 3/5 — A great app, but needs a lot of work *2019-08-06* Needs some major improvement compared to quizlet, especially if you are attempting to study at a college level. A lot of technical difficulties and cuttoffs within the sets when using the mobile app. The crossword generator is the best feature, in my opinion it’s the only feature that makes the app worthwhile. ### 1/5 — Does not work as advertised *2019-04-10* I was really hoping to use a flashcard system that let me hold multiple cards of data but here are the things that happened: - the iPhone app does not fit the screen and rides over the edge - the side bar is very small and not optimized for the iPhone screen size - when I click on my sets (I created a set on your website) the set is visible but I get an error notification and cannot open it - I tried deleting the set in the app and refreshing it, no change - I tried searching for my set using the search feature in the app, it did not show up I put in probably 25 minutes creating accounts/login-info, figuring out their website, creating a set, downloading the app, going through the additional steps of logging in there, just to find out that the app does not work. This is really frustrating and I don't know why you advertise having an app when it does not work as advertised. I hope you figure this stuff out. ### 3/5 — Great concept but glitches! *2019-03-21, version 1.5.1* I love love this app but it’s annoying that the app isn’t smooth. When I open it, it’s a blank screen. I have to close it to get any images to open up. When I tried to share my flash cards with others, I tested it out by e-mail it to myself first, when I click on the link it attempts to go to StudyStack.com to open, and it just hangs forever. I eventually got a message from Safari- server not responding :( so frustrating. 🙏🏼Please fix these bugs! I use these cards for my Pharmacology class.. I so need this app to function properly ### 2/5 — Great potential, but buggy *2019-03-01, version 1.5.1* Tl;dr, the app has great potential, but login, and deck upload is terrible on the iPhone and iPad. The current bug I found was, during the initial set-up of the app, a blank screen appears and remains. Nothing works, or is responsive. I would have to exit the app, and return for anything to appear. This is after a few attempts (2-3 times). I like the feel of this app but it’s kind of buggy, and I wouldn’t want to pay for something glitchy. Again, great potential, and there’s a lot of good ideas, but glitchy... I wish I know how to code, show I could help. ### 4/5 — Good app *2019-02-22, version 1.5.1* Nice little app. I wish there was another side for any additional information like transcription and voice recording option for each word. ### 3/5 — Has some issues *2019-01-31* It’s a great app, I love the trivial pursuit style slice earning for different types of study games. But I have two problems. For the hungry bug, the controls are very glitchy and frustrating should be edited. The other problem is that I use this app to study a language that doesn’t use the Latin alphabet, and if the crossword puzzle is stuck giving me English definitions, I can’t switch to the correct keyboard needed for the language. So now I can’t earn that slice. Something that should really be fixed. I will say I love the matching and quiz functions of the app. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Don’t get the app, look it up in online 😞 *2025-08-08* I love using the app in my web browser, it works really well. But the app is not working at all. It’s very laggy and unresponsive and it wont let me sign in. Use it in your web browser. ### 1/5 — Glitchy app *2024-03-28* I have managed to make a few flashcard sets, but this app is so glitchy, I may not have the patience to use it. There’s a button for searching for card sets on the internet, but it doesn’t actually do anything. I eventually can get to my saved sets, but I really don’t know how I got to them because the place in the app where you select them doesn’t do anything the first, second, even the third time I try clicking on it. I’m sure if I spend more time in this app I’ll discover more glitches, just not sure that’s how I want to spend my time. I wasted my time creating index cards only to find out some of the answers saved and none of the questions saved. ### 1/5 — APP WONT SAVE THE TERMS IN MY STACKS *2019-10-28, version 1.5.1* I’ve created multiple stacks in the app. Every time I leave a stack I just created to go make a new one, when I go back to the original stack ALL the terms are gone (only the definitions remain). I’ve had to re-enter terms multiple times for them to finally be saved which was so much valuable study time. THERE SHOULD BE A SAVE BUTTON, and if there is, it should be easily accessible as i’ve looked for it and have had no luck finding it. PLEASE fix this, as when it actually does save the content, it really does help me study. ### 1/5 — Deletes everything *2019-10-22* This app was fine until I saved my set of flash cards to do something else. When I was testing myself, some of the answers and questions on the flash cards were missing. It doesn’t save anything and it was very frustrating. I would not recommend this app. Quizlet is definitely a better option ### 1/5 — HORRIBLE KNOCK OFF OF QUIZLET. *2019-05-20, version 1.5.1* This app is so bad, it’s constantly glitching, and when you’re on your iPhone, on the website you can’t even play all the games, because it won’t even show up!! Make it sleeker, faster, and more modern. There are lots of different ways to practice as well which to me makes it worthwhile. I was really struggling academically in school becuase I really had trouble focusing while I was studying. I just hated to study and got so bored of it that I just started failing all my tests. But this app makes it kinda fun! And it's so way to just do on the bus or commercials when ur watching tv. And I know a bunch of people say so and so's app makes learning fun In a really cheesy way but this app just makes u want to do it and not be miserable.
