Like yeah it’s like teaching and stuff but the stories are SO LONG AND BORING and to be honest with all they’re asking in the book it’s too much. Don’t even get me started on the actual textbooks being like THREE INCHES TALL 💔. flip study sync and it’s annoying ahh work. ### 2/5 — A Genuine Review Evaluating Curriculum *2025-07-27, version 6.3.0* Overall, I think the app is slightly solid. It’s a subpar trustworthy source. The only problem I have with it is the questions and answers. The main problem I have with the questions is they are sometimes too broad, yet they expect you to answer with one very specific line. However, some of the questions are straightforward, so the questions are decent. The thing I am mostly not a big fan of is the answers, especially the skill questions. The skill questions have multiple choice questions that can subjectively have two correct answers, yet there is only one. Even though they promote evidence-based reading, most of it is “logical” assumptions. Also, some answers just do not make sense. I’m even saying it as a 4.3 GPA student, the curriculum is confusing. I’m not sure if I’m at fault or if the curriculum is generally flawed. It always deletes my progress, logs out of the app after I’ve been off the app for like 5 minutes, and worst of all, it grades things wrong. When you have a question that’s 2 parts, and you get one wrong, it marks both parts wrong. This has caused me to go from an A in my English class to a C. The bad reviews for this app aren’t necessarily for the actual app itself; rather they are complaining about the work on the app assigned by their teacher. They are complaining they had work to do, and that’s nothing to do with the app. One problem I do have, though, is that I keep getting signed out due to, “inactivity,” even though I’ve only been off the app for a couple of minutes. Even though I only have to enter a PIC to sign back it, it can get really irritating when I close the app for a just a minute and find that I have to sign back it. Inactivity should mean no activity on the app for at least a few weeks. It allows students to work on their school work from their phones. How great is it to have all your school work on one tiny device. No more lugging around heavy English books. All of the bad reviews are about how much work teachers assign. They are not digs about the app, but lazy kids complaining about school work.
