Compare yourself with friends and your whole university: rankings by study time, a streak tracker, daily badges, and 1v1 or group challenges. ## Is Stuedy safe? Share as a story Session complete, your daily recap, and your streak can now be shared as an image for Instagram & co. Also: fixed a Lock Screen pause/timer bug, smaller improvements. ### 1.2 — 2026-08-11 Push notifications Find out when a friend reacts to your session or finishes a long one. Friends only — and each type can be switched off in Settings. Your whole university The Uni ranking now shows every student, not just the top few. Searchable by name. Your streak, front and centre A card on the Home screen with your current streak and personal best. A proper introduction New accounts get a short walkthrough of the app. Replay it any time from Settings. A nudge before it gets urgent Outside your exam phase, a gentle reminder about twice a week suggests a short session while there's still time. Study regularly and you'll never see one. Swipe between tabs Move between Home, Stats, Friends and Profile with a swipe. Deleting is now a long press. Fixes Distraction tracking now counts whole app categories, keeps running past midnight, and pauses with your session. The end-time picker includes the day, so a timer left running overnight can be corrected. ### 1.1 — 2026-07-23 Version 1.1 is a big social update. Studying is now something you do with your friends and your whole university. There are streaks to keep alive, challenges to win, reactions to hand out, and plenty more to bring you back every day. Study streaks Study at least 30 minutes and your streak grows by a day. It shows up on your Home screen, on your profile, and next to your name in the rankings. Skip a day and it resets, so it's on you to keep it going. Challenges, one on one or in a group. Challenge a friend to a study duel, or start a group challenge with up to nine friends over any timeframe you like, up to 31 days. Everyone accepts or declines, and you can follow the live standings with progress bars and a countdown to the finish. Whoever studies the most wins, and ties share the win. You can give your challenge a name and rename it later, and there is a menu to leave one you are in or, if you started it, delete it for everyone. Reactions React to your friends' study sessions right in the feed. One tap cheers them on, and tapping again changes or removes your reaction. University leaderboard A new card in the Rankings tab shows the top 50 students at your university for the week or the day, plus your own rank, even if you are not friends with them yet. Would rather stay off it? One toggle in Settings keeps you private. Universities and degrees Pick your university and degree when you set up your profile. If yours is not listed yet, you can add it yourself, logo and all, and that logo then shows up as a small badge on your avatar throughout the app. Real names and people search You now have a real display name alongside your handle, so friends can actually recognise you. Finding people is easier too. Just search by name or handle instead of typing an exact username. Restore deleted sessions Deleted a session by mistake? It now sits in a Recently Deleted list on your Home screen for an hour, with a countdown, so you can bring it straight back. Better reminders and a livelier feed The app now lets you know when you get a challenge invite, when a challenge you are in wraps up, and when friends react to your sessions. You also get a small celebration when your day crosses a new badge tier. On top of that, the notification wording has a lot more variety now, so your daily recaps and exam reminders feel fresh instead of repetitive. Fixes and polish • Tapping your profile photo now opens the photo picker like it should. • Profile pictures and university logos no longer flicker or fail to load. Images are cached now and show up reliably everywhere. • Removing a friend, blocking, and unblocking all work reliably and clearly tell you whether they succeeded. • Swiping between the Friends pages is smooth again, and you can now swipe left or right on the Stats tab to change the time range. • Blocked users no longer show up in a shared challenge's standings. • Plenty of smaller performance improvements and bug fixes. ## Apps similar to Stuedy | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [DayOff](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/dayoff/id6443469994) | — | Free | Education | | [Musik- und Singschule HD](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/musik-und-singschule-hd/id1583556825) | — | Free | Education | | [StudiPlus ² ®](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/studiplus/id6749263803) | 5.0 (2) | Free | Education | | [Alpmann eCards](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/alpmann-ecards/id976490537) | — | Free | Education | | [Firm-App](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/firm-app/id6446772025) | — | Free | Education | | [Tradity](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/tradity/id1533074859) | — | Free | Education | --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
