Warning !!! Bikes with SC-E8000 display are not supported!!! Shimano did not endow this display with the ability to output telemetry via Bluetooth. STRide App is designed to record your ride session on Shimano STеPS E-bikes (EP801, EP600, EP8, E8000, E7000, E6100, E5000 motors are supported). The App supports external HRM sensors via Bluetooth. Displays bike's Speed, Cadence, Assist mode and Assist Level, Battery state, Range, Di2 data (gears), Distance, GPS data, HRM, Acceleration, Altitude (via Barometer sensor). The STRide App has the ability to view and analyze recorded sessions. Recorded sessions can be exported to GPX, FIT formats for import into STRAVA and other apps. STRide has integration with STRAVA service. Also there is no way to export the ride to tcx so I can manually upload it. ### 1/5 — StRide *2024-10-18, version 1.10.25* The app no longer works and keeps crashing with my iPhone iOS. Ansonsten sehr interessante App ### 3/5 — Apple Watch app fails to connect *2024-08-10, version 1.10.25* The iPhone app itself seems to work quite well, but the Apple Watch app never seems to connect. It’s incredibly annoying. I am using an Apple Watch Ultra so it’s up-to-date and should have no problems. ### 1/5 — Cannot connect my iWatch *2024-07-21, version 1.10.25* Bought this app specifically to get the battery life in actually percentages on my watch. The app connects fine and gives me way more data than I want (others will love all the extra data it provides) however I cannot get the watch to connect and I’ve tried it on 3 different e-bikes. I have an older Norco Sight with a STEPS 8000 motor, and Orbea Rise with an EP8 and a new YT with the EP801. Each can connect to the app but no watch. Another annoy thing is I cannot change from KMH to MPH. The settings have a place to go to M from K but it does not affect the “speedo”. Maybe I’m doing something wrong and the developer can help me out. If your looking to pull a phone out of your pocket then this app is not for me. $3 bucks is not a deal breaker but I could have bought a Latte. ### 2/5 — Almost great *2024-06-08, version 1.10.25* Can connect both phone and watch to bike to get battery percentage and assistance mode however whilst it tracks the time riden it doesn’t track the distance or any other details when connected via the watch ### 5/5 — Hr monitor *2024-05-23, version 1.10.25* How do I add wahoo heart rate monitor to STRide ### 5/5 — Long time phone user, starting with the watch version *2023-10-06, version 1.6.18* Long time phone user, starting with the watch version. Seems easily readable, as the phone version. The range in the watch display needs to be corrected: mentions “km”, while showing miles. This was corrected earlier in the phone display. ### 3/5 — App is n watch doesn’t work *2023-08-13, version 1.6.18* I have EN100 on Orbea Rise M10, the app connects in the phone great, and will initiate and connect when I press the watch app connect button, however, the watch app gets stuck on connecting.. and never moves on even though the phone app is connected. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2023-06-11, version 1.6.18* I’m only writing this here because there is no other way to contact the developer. I have a Shimano EP8 RS and purchased this app to increase the torque. I read all the PDF directions before I purchased the app and it’s not as per the directions. You cannot make any adjustments at all. I have the latest firmware version as well.
