Die Optik könnte etwas moderner gestaltet werden. Eine eigenständige App für die Apple Watch ⌚️ wäre super (Verbindung Watch zu Shimano Motor), dass man das Handy auch mal daheim lassen kann. 🙂 Der Ansatz der App ist super 🙌 ### 4/5 — First looks seems very comprehensive *2022-10-19* Unlock the hidden data from your ebike. This app offers a wealth of charts and other data sets that aren’t available in the official shimano apps. One issue I’m having is the integration with the Apple health/fitness application. The integration with Strava is super simple and worked out of the box - but just can’t seem to get the apple health functionality to work. Have enabled all the permissions but doesnt seem to write the data. Love to hear from the developer on how to get it working - bound to be user error. Once this is working the app would be a 5+ star effort. ### 4/5 — Great App *2021-12-30, version 1.3.12* App is working great on my phone, can’t get it to connect to my Apple Watch 7? Is there a trick to connect to watch? On the apple watch app would like to be able to remove information from the screen… would like to have the ability to have only three or four data fields. I would like to be able to glance at the watch and view cadence. Connects great and stays connected all ride. One star knock since I’ve had trouble uploading rides to Strava. Worked originally but now won’t sync. Hopefully it gets worked out. ### 5/5 — Exactly what I needed! *2021-07-03, version 1.3.10* Got the new Orbea Rise and it doesn’t come with a screen. Just an LED that stays green until your at 20%, then it turns red. This app gives me battery percentage (along with other stats) on my Apple Watch, which now gives me peace of mind on longer rides. Version 18 I love this app and use it daily for my Orbea Rise…works great! ### 1/5 — Cannot connect my iWatch *2024-07-21, version 1.10.25* Bought this app specifically to get the battery life in actually percentages on my watch. The app connects fine and gives me way more data than I want (others will love all the extra data it provides) however I cannot get the watch to connect and I’ve tried it on 3 different e-bikes. I have an older Norco Sight with a STEPS 8000 motor, and Orbea Rise with an EP8 and a new YT with the EP801. Each can connect to the app but no watch. Another annoy thing is I cannot change from KMH to MPH. The settings have a place to go to M from K but it does not affect the “speedo”. Maybe I’m doing something wrong and the developer can help me out. If your looking to pull a phone out of your pocket then this app is not for me. $3 bucks is not a deal breaker but I could have bought a Latte. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2023-06-11, version 1.6.18* I’m only writing this here because there is no other way to contact the developer. I have a Shimano EP8 RS and purchased this app to increase the torque. I read all the PDF directions before I purchased the app and it’s not as per the directions. You cannot make any adjustments at all. I have the latest firmware version as well. Könnte moderner und aufgeräumter sein. Lustig und interessant sind die Aufzeichnungen der Strecke. Man kann hinterher den Verbrauch pro Stunde ansehen. Eher uninteressant. Besser wäre Verbrauch pro Kilometer. Bitte ändern. It’s incredibly annoying. Seems easily readable, as the phone version. The range in the watch display needs to be corrected: mentions “km”, while showing miles. This was corrected earlier in the phone display. ### 5/5 — Cannot connect to my bike *2023-05-04, version 1.6.18* I was able to finish the pairing and love that it shows my Heart Rate via my Apple Watch. The key is - if you are using an Apple Watch - to have the app opened but the phone not connected yet, then open the app on the iPhone, and connect it. If it fails make sure you disconnect the app on the phone, then try again. Oh and when I change the assist level the watch responds via haptic alerts. Really cool. So the app shows a lot of info on the dashboard, including the actual battery percentage which is not showing on my Shimano display (I only see up to 5 bars), the remaining miles based on the Assist Level, shows the current heart rate and the average heart rate, the assist level… and much more! ### 5/5 — Super ! *2023-04-30, version 1.6.18* Must have wenn man shimano fährt und ne apple watch hat, strava export mit herzfrequenz funktioniert evenfalls. Thanks to this app I can glance at my Apple Watch to get an update in batt percentage during my rides. An App can't affect on the maintenance of a stable Bluetooth connection with a device (an E-bike in your case). The operating system (IOS) takes care of that. 2. An App can't affect on the maintenance of a stable connection between iPhone and Watch. The operating system (IOS + WatchOS) does that too. All of this applies to any App, including STRide. Would be nice if you make a video and explain what is going on your side. Updated to the latest version, and for the past two weeks the application disconnects from the motor without warning and stops recording rides. Known issue? Fix in the horizon? I haven't updated the iOS version in a while because I'm actively working on it now. In my working version, Range is available on the dash screen. I will be releasing an intermediate version in the next few days. Thanks **Developer response:** You can see the Range on all screens (Dash, Map, List).
