## What is Style Direction?

Style Direction reads your natural colouring once -- and then helps you judge everything you wear against it.

ONE SCAN, YOUR SEASON
A single guided face scan reads three facts about you: your skin, eye, and hair colour. Our on-device colour engine -- built on classic seasonal colour analysis -- places you in one of 12 colour seasons and gives you your personal palette: the colours that light you up, and the ones that wash you out.

THEN SCAN ANYTHING
Point your camera at a garment, a lipstick, a scarf -- the app judges it against YOUR palette, entirely on your device: Match, Consider, or Avoid, always with a plain-English reason.

ALWAYS FREE
- Your face scan, your season, and your full palette -- free, forever
- 5 item scans every month
- The demo: try the whole app with sample profiles before scanning anything

PREMIUM -- ONE-TIME PURCHASE ($14.99 USD, yours forever)
- Unlimited item scans
- Every scan category -- clothes, cosmetics, jewellery and more, including future categories
- One payment. No subscription. Nothing to cancel.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your face photo is downscaled on your device, used once to read three colour values, and never stored. Item scans never leave your phone. A free account saves your colour season and carries your unlock across your devices -- and you can delete it in the app at any time.

Built by CHASM AI Inc. on the AMOS Platform -- intelligent, on-device colour analysis.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.3 — 2026-08-30

What's new in 1.2

• Scan jewellery. Point the camera at a ring, chain or earring and see whether gold, silver or rose gold suits your colouring — the reader ignores the glare that fools ordinary colour tools, and tells you when the light was too poor to judge.
• A free-scan counter on every screen that matters, so you always know how many scans you have left before you spend one.
• New photography on every scan tile.
• Warmer, gentler sounds throughout, and a clear one for every verdict.
• Sharing a scan now sends a card showing the item, the verdict and your palette.
• Your website access now takes you straight to sign-in, with your email already filled in.

Your colour read and palette are always free, with five item scans a month.
