### 3/5 — Not working

*2023-01-18, version 4.1.0*

I have a paid account and cannot log on. It keeps saying something is wrong. Can you
help fix this?

### 2/5 — Can’t reset password

*2021-05-12, version 4.1.0*

Did your website go down? It’s been over a year since I’ve logged in but now I can’t reset password and website is no longer up, are you guys still active?

### 2/5 — Won’t connect

*2020-12-15, version 4.1.0*

No matter what I do the tracker will connect to my phone via Bluetooth but not to the app. I’ve uninstalled, reinstalled, rebooted my phone, tried syncing multiple times and still it won’t connect.
Any ideas would be great.

### 3/5 — Not sure what happened.

*2020-06-03, version 4.1.0*

I downloaded this app for my water and my scale and it’s becomes so much more than that which is fine but the scale piece it’s so hard to track your historical numbers. I just wanted a simple tracker and this is a lot and not for the better in this case.

### 4/5 — Just awful!

*2019-01-11, version 4.0.4*

Will not count correct steps. Date and time are wrong and won’t correct. It’s 1539 on 11 JAN not 0305 on 06 MAY. All I really wanted was a real looking watch that tracked my steps & kms. I don’t always carry my phone & knew the step count on it wasn’t correct. My phone is counting more steps than this.

### 2/5 — not worth the buy

*2018-12-25, version 4.0.1*

i got the watch as a gift, these are the reasons i dislike this.
1- i am NOT going to buy a “upgrade” after someone already BOUGHT the watch. these things that you should be able to do with it should come with the actual PRICE not an extra you have to buy. that’s actually super dumb. it’s like buying a bike and being told you can’t ride it (even though you paid for it) unless you pay a monthly fee.
2- can’t change the watch face like fitbit. i would apprecite it if i could change the layout of the watch.
thanks.

### 1/5 — Scale doesn’t work with new app

*2018-12-22, version 4.0.1*

My STYR scale connects to the app but nothing happen when i step on it. App is pointless now.

### 1/5 — What happened???

*2018-12-20, version 4.0.1*

The dashboard is not customizable... why? What’s the point if I can’t have what I want to see on my dashboard. It makes me wonder if I can customize my dashboard. Why do I want to pay if I don’t know what the upgrade includes. I like the layout and some of the other features... please fix the dashboard customization!

### 1/5 — And then.....

*2018-12-19, version 4.0.1*

I loved this app, and then came the update. New format is totally unsatisfactory and no longer reads from my tracker despite dating its connected. Very disappointing

### 1/5 — New GUI a disappointment - no way to contact support

*2018-12-19, version 4.0.1*

I loved the scale and water bottle until they updated the GUI/app. Now it won’t sync with iHealth or the scale and water bottle. You could contact support in the past but now everything is just automated responses that don’t help. Great concept. Not well developed enough for an athlete.

### 2/5 — Too cluttered

*2018-12-18, version 4.0.0*

I’ve just deleted the app. The watch/pedometer works fine without it and I have recommended the watch for the shipping price to several friends while that lasts.

Before the update the app was too cluttered, fonts too small, links too close together and not very intuitive. The voice recognition never ‘got it’ for my voice. With this update, it kicked me off. Tried to log back in, password didn’t work, password reset email didn’t work. Just not worth all the effort.

### 2/5 — Was fine until the new version

*2018-12-17, version 3.1.0*

The old version worked great never had a problem with it, since the new version kicked in I log in when it goes to main screen it says download updated version which I’ve done ten times. The app isn’t working & I'm quite upset about this.

### 1/5 — I love it, but it needs to be easy on the app

*2018-12-12, version 3.1.0*

I’m just confused with all the data....I just want an easy read.....
And maybe go into depth later...
I just don’t have time for all this stuff, if that makes sense..
My step counter is on my wrist, but I can’t even figure out the site... sorry

### 4/5 — So far so good

*2018-12-11, version 3.1.0*

We like almost everything so far. The only issue is the water bottle it is reading the water intake wrong and i it the main reason my wife will like the hole thing. Its a 24oz bottle but with one full bottle it’s reading 76oz. Something is off. Other that that we love how everything you would like is there at your fingertips. Now only if it would read your heart rate.

### 3/5 — Has good and bad going on!!

*2018-12-10, version 3.1.0*

I’m asking for my one yr refund please . I’m not happy with the calculation of the information that’s being logged and it does not allow me to manually correct information that’s wrong. If I make a mistake it won’t allow corrections it will just keep adding more ... it’s become too stressful to deal with .... I want something more user friendly ... I’ll go back to logging on my iPhone note pad cheaper anyway... I’ve lost 60 lbs without this and I can continue without it ... please give me my refund !!!! Thank you!!
Good luck!!

### 4/5 — Great Concept

*2018-12-03, version 3.1.0*

I am enjoying and utilizing my STYR Shift and Scale. Unfortunately, my LYQD water bottle is defective. It doesn’t sync or track my consumption.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — 4.0.1 is dreadful.

*2023-02-03, version 4.1.0*

Food logging is not intuitive, and doesn’t seem to work. I have tried to log a breakfast item four times this morning, it isn’t in what I think is the log today. The previous version was frustrating in that I couldn’t add foods not in the database, now I can’t even add foods that are in the database. Actually, nothing is intuitive. I kind of hate this app. I didn’t like it much before the update, and now it’s worse. I like that water bottle, and the information the scale provides. I prefer my other fitness tracking devices, as they track sleep, heart rate, etc. This app is crap. I would prefer something more like SparkPeople that interfaces with the devices.

Updating this to note that I have not been able to log in for weeks. I’ve tried the reset password link “Oops…something went wrong”. Tried creating a new account using three different email addresses, “Oops…something went wrong.” I’ll tell you what went wrong: I bought STYR products.

### 1/5 — Can’t get past register screen No web support from what I can see

*2023-01-17, version 4.1.0*

Can’t get past register screen at all seems and appears that there no support for the app or website

### 1/5 — Cannot log in

*2022-12-27, version 4.1.0*

What is going on? Did you guys stop updating your app, go out of business, or what? I was booted out, unable to reset my password, or even create a NEW account!!! This is now a dumpster fire.

### 1/5 — Cannot Log In

*2022-12-19, version 4.1.0*

The app booted me out and now will not allow me to log back in. So now I just have an expensive scale that I wish I hadn’t purchased bc I could have bought a regular scale for a fraction of what I paid for the STYR scale. Frustrated.

### 1/5 — Probably not Supported any more

*2020-06-14, version 4.1.0*

I found my mother’s activity tracker and decided to use it since the app seemed active.
I downloaded the app, with no issue at all, and started going through the sign up process.
After filling everything out (which was not much anyway), and checking the TOS and privacy policy, it just says “woops something went wrong try again later”. I tried different passwords thinking I muffed that up, and it still gave the same message.
Perhaps it’s not supported any more, or I just happened to catch them during an update.
I checked online to figure it out and I couldn’t find anything to support my issue.
Either way, until I learn what the issue was, or the issue is resolved:
1 star.

Should anything change, I will update this review to accurately reflect the outcome.

Thank you for reading I hope this review is found helpful for anyone considering a Styr Labs product.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2020-06-05, version 4.1.0*

I bought the pack with the scale, water bottle & watch for $100 just for the app not to work. I can’t even get past the account set up ! DO NOT BUY

### 1/5 — Another failed app

*2018-12-29, version 4.0.1*

Just like so many other apps out there, this one started out great but one update wiped it out!

I did the mandatory update and now I can no longer login to my account at all.

The only other problem I have is that the water bottle is complicated to understand- it shows a percentage instead of number of ounces.

### 1/5 — New update is horrible

*2018-12-27, version 4.0.1*

Although I could never get all of my stats to sync to Apple Health, I was satisfied with the app and scale. Since the update, even though I weigh less, my body fat measurement has increased by 10%. I have an older scale that is giving me stats in line with previous readings.

### 1/5 — Not intuitive

*2018-12-23, version 4.0.1*

Can’t even find my previous weigh in numbers ...or there’s a glitch.

To much info jammed into one page

### 1/5 — New Update 👎🏻

*2018-12-22, version 4.0.1*

If you’re like me and use MyFitnessPal, this is severely complex. Logging food is incredibly difficult and it is so easy to accidentally add the wrong thing. You can’t connect your STYR tracker to MyFitnessPal like Fitbit would. I purchased the scale, which is great and informative, IF it would actually store my results in my app. It doesn’t, I have to screenshot the readings and refer back to them. Before the update you could easily connect and talk with someone if you need help, now it is nearly impossible. I purchased the tracker by only paying shipping as it was a great deal at the time, but honestly, this has to be a test market item because the app needs a ton of improvement before I’d recommend anyone purchasing the devices. It’s a constant headache.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — All the Health Features You Need, Nothing You Don’t

*2019-02-27, version 4.1.0*

This app has an elegantly minimal approach to supplying users with the least amount of frills in order to log food, track micros/macros, hydration, and heart rate.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2018-12-18, version 4.0.0*

I love this app. I love the chat log for my food and hydration.

### 5/5 — Help

*2018-12-17, version 3.1.0*

I love this app it’s really help me lose weight back then. I stop using it for personal reason. I wanted to get back on track but, it doesn’t let me log back in. I login in with Facebook but it keeps on saying that it failed. I tried the other app and it did the same thing please help🙏

### 5/5 — Great

*2018-11-23, version 3.1.0*

Getting my life back

### 5/5 — Customer Service

*2018-11-05, version 3.1.0*

I recently received my Tracker and had a problem with the Tracker matching the actual distance I was walking, but John was very knowledgeable about the Tracker and showed me how to adjust the Stride to get an accurate reading, and got back to me very quickly! Thanks John! Steve C.

### 5/5 — Awesome health app

*2018-06-12, version 3.1.0*

This is the first review I have left for any app ever but it’s so worth it. For years I have been using apps like my fitness pal and lifesum but nothing was ever perfect. This app has all the functionality of MFP but the beautiful colorful interface of lifesum. 10/10 would recommend-it has everything you could possibly want to log and you can customize what you see to your liking. Thinking about buying the matching scale and fitbit !!

### 5/5 — Better than Fitbit

*2018-05-30, version 3.1.0*

I love my band. I need one for my wife.

### 5/5 — Amazing customer service

*2018-01-25, version 3.0.3*

I was having issues connecting the STYR app to my Apple health app. I contacted the company at 7pm n a Saturday night and heard back within the hour. Then while they were working to fix the issue they emailed me daily sentiment several times to check in with me and update me on their progress. I felt very cared for and am very impressed.

### 5/5 — STYR is Awesome!

*2017-08-18, version 2.1.1*

A friend told me about the app, so I downloaded it to log my eating habits. The app was easy to use and I bought their band and scale from inside the app. Both sync up to my phone and create a history of my progress. The scale even estimates my body fat percentage and bmi! They have a very intuitive ecosystem and their products are very high end for sure. I'd recommend using STYR 100%!

### 4/5 — Good but had problems

*2019-06-28, version 4.1.0*

The recent food options aren’t accurate and doesn’t work. It’s showing food I had about 6 months ago rather than my actual “recent food”
