It stays connected for a few days and then the dreaded connection error shows up. I’ve never experienced this with other brand IoTs. For a luxury appliance like Sub-zero/Wolf/Cove, this App is a big embarrassment. I have the double oven, Sub-zero and Cove and all three are showing connection errors. Why is this so very difficult?? I have stopped using the app now. ### 1/5 — No HomeKit integration *2026-05-04, version 4.5.4* It’s 2026 and this app still doesn’t have HomeKit integration. It works with Alexa and Google but why not Apple? ### 2/5 — Works when it finally connects *2026-04-15, version 4.5.4* I had to have Wolf help me connect my appliances when I first set up the app. It worked for a while. And I loved having the information. It lost connection and will not reconnect, so I guess I will call customer service again. ### 1/5 — Wi-Fi will not connect in three of my Ford devices *2026-04-11, version 4.5.4* I have a brand new 3050 refrigerator 1850 wine cooler 2450 freezer and Wolf oven. Only the freezer can connect to the Internet. The others don’t find the Internet, even though it’s extremely strong signal. The app does not allow you to delete a network you’ve entered. ### 1/5 — Bad update *2026-04-10, version 4.5.4* Latest update breaks everything. Cant connect at all. Hangs on Bluetooth. Then hangs on wifi. Horrible. ### 1/5 — Fix the app! *2026-04-08, version 4.5.4* Everyone complaining that the last update caused appliances to lose connection and can’t reconnect and your only answer is to tell everyone to call customer service??? High end equipment, ridiculously low end app!! ### 1/5 — Keeps breaking with connection error *2026-04-01, version 4.5.4* I initially thought I had a problem with my brand new subzero but after adding the new wolf dual range, both frequently break with connection errors. I have to delete the Bluetooth connections and redo the setup. Absolutely annoying. The only thing that is required is to be able to connect to the appliances when you open the app. How difficult could that be? I believe there are serious quality issues before releasing the app to production. I have now stopped using this app altogether. ### 2/5 — Updates break app-appliance connection *2026-03-17* The app is great when it works. However, every so often a bad app or server update is pushed that breaks the app’s ability to communicate with my SZ fridge. I have an older Integrated/Designer fridge that does not have an internal control panel (only physical options for power/ice maker/alarm). Everything else from fridge/freezer temperature controls, ice maker settings, and filter status are only visible and accessible via the app. So when the app breaks, the functionality of my fridge is particularly limited. I wish Sub Zero had better QA or testing prior to releasing their app updates. The bug is usually fixed within a week or so, but it is nonetheless frustrating to lose control of your expensive appliances even if it’s only temporary. **Developer response:** griffinhunt - Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience with us. My iPhone account t was logged out and my connection to the subzero refrigerator was broken. App will no longer connect to fridge. I logged out- I logged in. No connection.
