Overall sentiment: mixed **Pros** - 👍 Simple and engaging gameplay - 👍 Addictive and fun - 👍 Calming and relaxing experience - 👍 Easy to learn, hard to master - 👍 Good time killer - 👍 Unique atmosphere and world - 👍 Visually appealing art style **Cons** - 👎 Data loss after updates - 👎 Loss of rankings and achievements - 👎 Graphics and music changed negatively - 👎 Feels cheaper than before - 👎 Less unique atmosphere - 👎 In-game purchases feel forced - 👎 Ads can be intrusive or block buttons **Commonly reported bugs** - Ranking and encyclopedia data disappeared after update - Game progress and saved games disappeared after update - In-app purchases not restoring - Freeze bug not resolved - Ads blocking buttons - Building collection bug - Inconsistent starts leading to unfair advantages **Most requested features** - Add more game modes - Option to revert to older BGM and design - Add new buildings/themes - Add more levels/maps - Allow joining larger buildings for higher scores - Add different city themes (Medieval, Native, Chinese Dynasty) - Option to pay to remove ads permanently ## Newest reviews (12 of 148) ### 2/5 — 相変わらず面白い、けどチープになりました *2024-11-19* ゲーム自体は昔から一貫して変わらず、無限に遊べる楽しさ。 大前提このゲームが好きでファンです。その上で以下の感想です。 5〜7年前くらい？に遊んでいて、音楽も静かなコーラスみたいな感じで若干の不気味さと厳かさがあるような雰囲気で、独特の世界観がありました。 数年前からAndroidスマホだったので、スバラシティをやってみましたがデザインや音楽など全然違って、 「やっぱりiPhoneじゃないから開発力入れてないのかぁ」と思っていました。 数年ぶりにiPhoneに戻ったので、iOS版のスバラシティをやりたい！！と思って戻ってきたら、他の方のレビューにもあるように iOS版も変わってしまったんですね。 Android版だけがとくべつ開発遅れてるとかでは無かったみたいです。 昔は、その醸し出す独特の世界観が、 インディーゲームならではの知る人ぞ知る感があって、 高級感・厳か感も感じました。 数年前当時のiPhoneで初めて触ったスバラシティは、デザインも当時にしてはモダンで、世界観があった。 スバラシティが変わってしまったのか、 iPhoneが進化したから荒く見えてしまうのか、どちらなのかわかりませんが、 リリース当初を知っている身からすると、当時に比べ、少しチープに感じてしまいました。 あとは他の方のレビューと同意見です。(途中経過の評価がA、B、などではなく〇〇シティの方がユニークだった、など…) 選択制で良いので、昔のBGMやデザインに変えたりできる機能があると他のレビューの方々のように昔のファンの方も満足すると思います。 開発者様の一新したデザインが悪いと言っているわけではありません。 今のスバラシティは昔の厳かさが無い分、なんだこれ！？感が無くて気軽に誰でも遊べる雰囲気になりました。 昔のユーザーはターゲットから外されたのかもしれません。 でも、こんなにもレビューが来る(わざわざ手間をかけて文章を打ってまで)ということは、 昔のスバラシティは、本当に素晴らしかったということだと思います。 意地を張らずに、ユーザーの声を聞いてくださることを祈ってます… ### 3/5 — ついつい *2024-11-12* 長い事　遊んでますが 飽きる事なく　楽しんでます。 ### 4/5 — It’s hard ! *2023-12-08, version 3.9.7* Its a very simple concept, although difficult to explain. Best to watch someone else to begin with . And only have 1 mayor mark instead of 3 ### 5/5 — Simple timeless amazing game *2022-07-12, version 3.9* This is one of those simple but amazing games that is timeless, like chess. Each run is different and it can get very difficult and addicting to get a high score, which I like. I’ve had this on my phone for years. Took a long break where I was never interested in playing but recently came back and had to support the developer with the new Tokyo pack and leave this review. Thanks for a great game! ### 5/5 — New Tokyo Level is Awesome *2022-06-20, version 3.8* I love the new level especially the sunset and night time modes. I hope more new levels are added soon. Also support is very polite and tries to help, which I appreciated! ### 2/5 — 基本改悪 *2022-06-19* BGMはなくなるし、グラフィックの選択肢もなくなるし、何より今までの記録が消えてるのが納得できない。 ここまでデメリットだらけのアップデートだと、課金を促すためのテコ入れなのかと勘繰ってしまう。 追記 BGMが復帰し、旧バージョンの記録も確認できた。しかしどこに何があるのかわかりにくすぎる。最初に目につくのが課金メニュー。これじゃ課金目当ての改悪としか思えない。 ### 5/5 — 前のバージョンにして欲しいです *2022-06-16* 良くも悪くもイマドキのスタイリッシュな感じになってしまったのでとても残念。 ファミコンのようなレトロな暖かさが可愛く、ブロックの落ち方もゆっくりだったので「これじゃない」感が否めないです。 ゲーム自体は楽しく遊んでます。絵柄を前のものに戻してほしいです。 ### 5/5 — I freaking love this game! *2022-06-15, version 3.7* It is so very addictive and you can lose so much time playing over and over.
