I cannot scroll down to see the full schedule and when I switch to another day, it freezes and gets stuck so I have to close the app and then reopen it again to view another day. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling, changing my password and also shutting down my phone, leaving it off for 10 minutes, then turning on, and problems continue. Was told an update was coming but have not seen it yet. ### 2/5 — Keeps getting stuck. *2025-12-16* I go to view the full schedule and the app seems to get stuck and I can’t do anything. I have to close the app and open again if I want to see something else. It was working great up until about 2 weeks ago. I’ve tried logging off, changing password, uninstalling and reinstalling app, clearing the cache but nothing seems to work. ### 2/5 — Drop Down Menu *2025-12-11* Constantly freezes when I try to use drop down “full schedule” menu option. Was working great until the newest “update” a couple of days ago. Needs serious improvements. ### 1/5 — Fix the App *2025-10-16, version 4.8.0* The app fails to tell me when I’m working which is its one purpose. ### 3/5 — BUG, NEEDS FIXING *2025-04-29* pretty good app although i wish there was the ability to schedule reminders for your shifts beforehand, but my major issue at the moment is there is a bug where when I click to look at my schedule for the week it will start loading and then the numbers will shrink and expand pretty fast without me able to touch anything, and i usually have to swipe out of the app to get it working again. ### 1/5 — Horrendous, use an excel spreadsheet instead *2025-04-14* This app makes scheduling 10x harder than just using excel. My employer used a different software before switching to this one and it has made my life 10x harder. I recently gave up and started using a google form and excel for scheduling employees because it is way easier. Firstly the absolutely critical feature of being able to see who is available for the shift I just created has never worked. So I have to manually check every single employee and write down when they say they are available. Also the “submit” button is a useless feature and leads to employees asking me to unlock their availability several times a week. The software randomly switches positions back and forth from hourly to shift based seemingly for no reason at all which causes mass confusion. As an employee, I have scheduled myself as unavailable several times and been scheduled by the AI, leading to chaos as I try to explain to the scheduler what happened and have to get my shift covered when it’s not my fault and I should not have been scheduled. The software also randomly stopped working for a two week period right in the middle of my works busiest time period. There was a time where SubItUp signed an ad deal that overlayed the entire UI with an ad and made the entire thing unusable. Also not being able to set availability on the app renders the app essentially useless. Why make an app where you can only see your schedule and not set your availability? As I said before, as a scheduler I have switched to excel and I recommend anyone else who is forced to use this software do the same. As an employee my blood boils every time I am scheduled by the AI when I am marked as red. Something needs to be fixed and I wish my employer would go back to our old software. ### 1/5 — It won’t show me my schedule *2025-02-14, version 4.3.0* It has never showed me my schedule when I got it for my job. I have to manually log in on the website and I do not know how to fix it or change it. ### 1/5 — Garbage *2025-01-21* My employer switched to this app after moving from WhentoWork and oh my goodness this app is trash. The Ui looks simple on the surface, until you have to click through 20 menus to get to what you want. You can also never do what you think you want to do, and always have to find some loophole. For example, I simply want to assign multiple employees to one shift for meeting, yet I can’t figure out how to do it. I’d say user error if I didn’t feel this way for every single feature. Also paying extra for Google Calendar integration is laughable. Do better. ### 1/5 — Eh *2024-10-16* So many issues with the app I cannot justify wasting my time writing them all out.. but hey, I’m just glad they got that part figured out where you can pick your pronouns. That’s probably the most important feature of a scheduling app—the pronoun feature. No one can figure out their schedule if they can’t figure out their pronouns 😂😂 ### 1/5 — Notification Issues *2024-09-23, version 3.2.7* Shift reminder notifications come 2 hours after my shift started - very frustrating ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Makes me want to kill myself *2026-06-26* There is nothing worse than this app. Nothing about it is easy for the user to use. For example my phone broke and I was unable to get the mandatory two step verification text. Instead of sending one to my email the absolute idiots at subitup decided only to use text verifications. While trying to troubleshoot oh i tried to log in and they block me for 15 min.. 18 min later they claimed it was under 15 min and I get blocked again. This is just as angeringas my ex ### 1/5 — Never not bugging *2026-01-10, version 4.8.6* This app stays freezing. If you try to skip more than a week ahead at a time it freezes.
