The basic version retains all the prior functionality, while the pro version adds player positions that are a life saver when planning a lineup for game day. I used to manage positions with a manual spreadsheet, but now I’m able to plan a game in a few minutes—with the confidence that I’m giving players equitable time on the field. Also, the option to print the substitution plan makes it easy to hand a copy of the game plan to coaches or mark up during the game. I thought I was getting a free trial but I suppose because I had one before of an older version it wouldn’t let. Well, the new app is garbage and I let them know. I asked for a refund but have been ignored. When creating your team it has limited options and doesn’t let you customize it to fit your needs.
