### 5/5 — The app I’ve desperately needed

*2026-03-02*

I am terrible at keeping on track of my subscriptions and I’ve always wanted something like this. The app is very clean, modern and intuitive. I highly recommend! Also glad this app is a one time payment and not a subscription 😄

### 5/5 — Very well-designed and enjoyable app to use.

Great app, really clear and a responsive developer!

### 5/5 — Great

*2026-02-11*

Affordable and great!

### 5/5 — Functional and elegant subscription tracker

*2026-02-08*

Does exactly what it is supposed to do, by enabling you to easily add subscriptions and keep a close eye on them. The AI-enabled auto-import (iOS only for now) is a great idea, as lack of auto-import from the App Store is what held me back from this type of app until now. Support is fast, empathetic and (human) intelligent.

### 5/5 — Wonderful subscription tracker

*2026-02-06*

I love the mac and iOS version of the app- app has consistent UI element and well thought app. The calendar view in a glance suggest upcoming payment day. I love the year view which in radial dial graph just give overview about overspending month of the year. Overall worth every penny! Also the dev is very responsive

### 5/5 — Best designed app to track subscription

### 5/5 — Great app.

The UI is super. Feels little leggy when scrolling through Add subscription sheet. Overall the app is top notch.

### 5/5 — Almost perfect for tracking subscriptions

*2026-01-28*

The app looks great, the calendar is easy to view, adding new subscriptions is flexible, and categories make it easy to organize all your data.
There are two things I would like to see in the app:
1) When the system starts up, the app appears on the screen. It would be nice to add an option to start it in minimized mode.
2) It would be very useful to add a simple table/list view next to the calendar with columns such as "Name," "Amount," "Date," "Frequency," and "Category," as well as the ability to filter by category. This would make it much easier to view all the data and decide what to cancel in order to save money.

UPD Jan 27, 2026 - Reply to the developer.
1. Yes, it works. Thank you.
2. But this list doesn't show any amounts, dates, or any sorting options (ascending/descending). This data is really important, in my opinion. If this is planned for future updates, then I'm looking forward to it. I'll change review rating to 5 then.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the positive feedback.
1. To prevent the app window from opening at system startup, please enable the “Only Menu Bar” option in the settings.
2. You can view a list of all subscriptions in the search list and quickly sort them by status or billing frequency. I am planning to add sorting by price and category in the upcoming updates. Thank you.

### 5/5 — Nice menu bar app that integrates natively

*2026-01-15*

Nice

### 5/5 — Great App

*2026-01-09*

Thanks, very helpful. And well designed.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the high rating. I am glad that you liked it. In a couple of days the iOS version of the app will be released too 🙌

### 5/5 — A Lovely Little App

*2025-12-10*

It's easy. It works. It looks great.

AND...it's Ukrainian! I may pledge allegiance to the red, white and blue, but if you live in a part of the world that bleeds yellow and blue for our brothers and sisters fighting to keep the West free, get in there and get this app. And if you can, support Ukraine by sending help to novaukraine.org.

### 5/5 — Awesome!

*2025-09-19*

This app was exactly what I was looking for to help me organize my subscriptions in a simple way. Most of the other apps had a bunch of things that I didn’t need. I love the simple UI, integration with logos and also auto currency exchange! Great job by the dev team

**Developer response:** Thanks 🙏 Very glad you enjoyed the app and found it useful.

### 1/5 — 5 subscriptions free only??

*2026-02-23*

I find it ironic that a subscription tracker app is trying to make me upgrade to add subscriptions lol. It’s horrible. If you truly want this app to be a success, you cannot lock EVERYTHING behind a pay wall, support is earned not rewarded. So EARN the support, not force people to pay for a basic feature. I really wanted to like this app, I’m heavily disappointed.

**Developer response:** We’re truly sorry to hear that you’re disappointed. That was definitely not the experience we hope to provide.

Unlike most apps, we offer a Lifetime one time purchase instead of only a subscription, even though we have ongoing monthly expenses. The app relies on several paid services such as icon search, image recognition, currency exchange data, and 6 different import integrations. We also go through annual security certification. All of this involves significant ongoing costs, which is why we’re unable to make the app completely free.

At the same time, we intentionally include more features in the free version than many similar apps, along with up to five subscriptions, so you can properly explore the app and decide whether it fits your needs. If it turns out it’s not the right fit, we completely understand, and we truly appreciate that you gave it a try.

### 1/5 — Why is this app so power hungry?!!

*2025-09-22*

Looks promising but it’s draining the battery of my MacBook Pro and making it run so hot.

**Developer response:** [Updated] please try updating to version 2.1.0. We released a major update with more than 30 improvements and fixed all performance issues. I would really appreciate it if you could update your rating if the problem is resolved for you. Or feel free to email support@appps.od.ua if you have any other issues, I will be happy to help.

### 2/5 — iCloud Sync does NOT work

*2026-04-03*

Not a single change I make to any subscription gets updated across devices. The only thing that happens is that I waste my time bc, even on the device I’m using to make any change, it just reverts back.. exporting the data also is of no actual use bc it doesn’t have the price history, etc. The app looks good but that’s literally about the only good thing about it.

**Developer response:** Please update the app to the latest version. If both your Mac and iOS devices are up to date, iCloud should work correctly.

If you still have any issues, please contact us at support@appps.od.ua and we will help you fix it. Thank you!

### 3/5 — Seems like a lot of work

*2026-01-03*

First the good stuff: the interface is quite good-looking. The developers have covered most of the bases, with category tags, and a nice calendar display. I went ahead and paid for a lifetime subscription to test the import function as I have a pretty extensive excel sheet going already and wanted to see how Subscription Day would handle it. The bad news is that it really doesn’t handle it all that well. For starters, it won’t import a file with more than 40 rows. I broke down my test file with forty rows, and after chewing on it for a while, Subscription Day gave me the option to import 35 rows. No detail as to which rows were rejected or why. The AI Import function works on a CSV file, but the Import function will not work. And it would be nice to have the ability to add custom fields — I track which account pays the subscription for example. And it would be nice to have the ability to view the data in a list format, rather than month to month. Or maybe list by category? The statistics window gives you some nice charting but lacks filtering. I guess I’ll wait until the app gains a little maturity to work at importing more data into it.

**Developer response:** Thank you for such detailed feedback. We have released a major update. We increased the number of rows allowed for import and improved the recognition algorithm. If the import still does not work well, you can send an example of the file you are trying to import to support@appps.od.ua, and we will review it and try to improve the process. By the way, you can view the list by category if you simply tap on a category in the chart within the statistics section.

### 3/5 — Nice app. Should pull data from Apple App Store

*2025-12-20*

For some reason, I thought it was also going to auto populate things purchased through the apple ecosystem. It doesn’t seem to do that and doesn’t make it clear that it just reflects the information you input.

I got here from a Medium article recommendation. Both sources didn’t make this clear.

**Developer response:** We always emphasize this. This information is available on the website, in the app description, and even after you install the app and try it for free. Nowhere does it say that subscriptions will be imported automatically, because no app in the world does this, and with a high probability no platform will provide an API that would allow it.

### 3/5 — No Syncing

*2025-06-03*

I really love the app and bought the Pro version. The interface is great, although some minor tweaks would definitely make it better, especially functionality-wise. My biggest issue however is that there’s no iCloud Sync, which is very odd. I have multiple computers and I have to make sure I’m updating on a single computer so I can download the data and import it to the other one, without any major differences. This is very, very inconvenient and kind of takes away the point of such an app. Having a simple text file saved to my desktop is more convenient as it syncs any changes across multiple devices.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. We’ve already added iCloud sync. We’d appreciate it if you could check out our new update and possibly update your rating. Thank you!

### 3/5 — Only 5 Subs unless you pay

*2025-04-10*

I saw this app on Reddit and gave it a shot. UI seemed nice but you cannot add more than 5 subscriptions unless you pay $8 therefore deleting as many free alternatives.

**Developer response:** You can use any free alternatives. We made the app free to download and limited it to 5 subscriptions so that users can try it out and then decide whether they want to pay for it or not. We never positioned ourselves as a free app, including on Reddit. Sorry if that wasn’t clear or transparent enough on our part 🙏

### 4/5 — Great app! Still room for improvement

*2026-04-08*

I love the app. It has a sleek design and great functionalities (smart importing and fetching icons are both great features!). My only take is that there is no view where you can see your subscriptions as a list. That would be very helpful and I hope that the developers will add that feature in future updates.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review. This list does exist, but since it’s not used very often, I placed it on the search screen. You can tap the large “All your subscriptions” button there to see the full list, where you can also sort it if needed.

### 4/5 — Just one problem…..

*2025-05-01*

UPDATE: Almost there, hence the increase of the star rating. Dmytro is being very helpful. A couple of suggestions: (1) enable full screen view; (2) enable subscription periods “bi-annual” and/or user defined

**Developer response:** UPDATE: Thanks for the corrected review! In the next update, there will be an option to set custom periods for subscriptions 💎

### 4/5 — Nice app but using significant energy

*2025-04-01*

Great little app, but the battery reports it as “using significant energy” on my mbp 16” m4 pro max. Hopefully, this gets addressed in future updates.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the review! Yes, we’ll do our best to optimize the app and fix the battery usage issue in the next update 🙏

upd: We’ve fixed the issue with battery usage.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — I’ve been looking for something like this for so long

*2026-05-28*

This app is perfect, no log in, very seamless. I’m a person with a ton of subscriptions so this really helps. Also, I love how it’s on Mac, web, and iPhone/ iPad Apple Store. Dev is working hard! I’m grateful for the 5 free subscriptions!!

### 5/5 — Intuitive & Visually Satisfying, Great Product!

*2026-05-24*

I remember checking out this app early on from interactions on Threads (or maybe 𝕏), and I suggested to the creator that it would be nice to have a way to import from Notion — and they added it! 🔥💯 plus the overall experience is intuitive & visual which helps me out a lot. Here’s hoping that eventually we can also get two-way sync with Notion at some point too if others are also looking for that!

### 5/5 — Great app and great support

*2026-05-22*

You don’t realise how many subscriptions you have until you put a tiny effort into completing this app. Love the app, love the design and support has been top notch when I’ve raised any problem I’ve encountered. Well done

### 5/5 — So beautiful

*2026-05-19*

This app is one of the most beautiful apps I have ever seen

### 5/5 — Great tool

*2026-05-18*

Great tool for tracking subs across platform. I love the simplicity of it

### 5/5 — Lovely

*2026-04-24*

Saw the app on X. Great UX, simple, well executed 🙌

### 5/5 — Finally know where my money is going

*2026-04-17*

The calendar view is a genius idea — seeing exactly which days you’re getting charged changes how you think about subscriptions. Smart reminders before renewals hit is the feature I didn’t know I needed. Dark UI is slick, onboarding is quick. One of those apps you install and immediately wonder how you managed without it.

### 5/5 — Awesome!

*2026-04-15*

Probably the best expense tracker I’ve ever used.

The monthly calendar with all subscriptions and the remaining balance until the end of the month is exactly what I’ve been looking for for a long time.

Design — 10/10.

Just try it. You’ll thank me later 🙂

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2026-04-11*

Well designed and completely thought out (including price changes)! I’ve been using other tools for years, but they have all been lacking, so I went back to spreadsheets, and then just stopped tracking it. Well worth the price.

### 5/5 — The best subscriptions calendar

*2026-03-08*

The user interface is beautiful. The app does everything you’d need including currency conversions, automatically fetches logos/icons for subscriptions. You can breakdown cost by category and display it in a beautiful chart so you can monitor your spending. So happy with this, purchased the full version straight away.
