Customer service unfortunately is poor - with delayed to no responses. Needed an APP that alerted to Aesop and ReadySub, two solutions in my area. This one worked well. While they did Alert as needed I cannot accept ReadySub alerts using SubSidekick. Have to accept using ReadySub app directly after receiving error message. Minor inconvenience but jobs around here last two seconds with these alerts (literally 2 seconds). Recommend this app but is quirky. That’s why # of stars. ______________update___________ Been using this app for more than a year and LOVE it. Does have quirkiness as stated earlier with ReadySub but minor inconvenience. Requires me to “accept” the ReadySub position off site but no big deal. Grabbing instantly from Aesop is GREAT. Posts do not last long for jobs I want to pick up. Again, highly recommend for any serious substitute application! ### 2/5 — Worked well up until a few days ago *2019-12-02, version 1.0.9* Was being notified of openings fast but near the end of the trial period the notifications were automatically being accepted without me even seeing the positions. Found out I was scheduled for a job by the school calling me and I had no idea I was supposed to be there. That job was accepted at 1:00AM and I was not even awake. Now I look like I left the school out of a position because I couldn’t work the scheduled hours. I can’t tell whether it’s been blocked altogether or what ### 1/5 — Everything that is wrong with capitalism! *2026-04-21, version 5.0.0* Don’t produce anything; don’t innovate anything; don’t provide any value; don’t bother fixing your glitchy app… Just stand in-between teachers and subs and collect $10/month to be a bridge troll, while we do all the work. Now your shady app got blocked, and you’ll have to find somewhere else to make loads of money without doing anything. 🥲 ### 1/5 — Really slow *2025-11-02, version 5.0.0* Emails come way after the actual frontline app sends a notification , based on the email time stamp and not when the email comes through as my email are pushed to come through immediately. Neither of which I could take, not the look I want my new district to see. ### 1/5 — Not working with Atrieve *2022-08-28, version 3.0.1* The app description says it works with Atrieve, but when I contacted them about needing support, they said they can’t help me as they aren’t supporting Atrieve right now. I chose to get text messages. I shortly thereafter got an email stating text messages would be disabled since I could get notifications via the app. If I wanted to turn text messages back on follow xyz. I turned texts back on. Day 2, I got the same email saying texts would be disabled but I could turn them back on. I emailed tech support saying and got a response that it would take 3-5 days to get a response. I followed the instructions to turn text back on. An hour later I got another email stating they turned off text and I choose turn it back on. How ridiculous! If they don’t want text to be an option, don’t give it as one. I’ll be deleting the app since it won’t continue texting me unless I repetitively turn it on. Texting is all I wanted. ### 1/5 — Not satisfied *2019-01-18, version 1.0.9* I would not recommend this app. I was relying on it to notify me of all jobs and realized it really only sends alerts for a small portion. When I reached out to customer service I was sent a list of reasons why not all jobs popped up. I was denied a refund because the reasons the app failed are listed in their terms of use.
