Diese App ist ultraschlank, synchronisiert perfekt zwischen den iclouddevices sogar am mac und bietet so ziemlich alles was man für eine schnelle rechnungserstellung braucht. Das trägt mich jetzt für einige Jahre! Net invoice is the default. Why didn't you write a mail or post in the community forum instead of writing this review? If you believe there is a bug in the app, I am happy to fix it. But at the moment, I don't believe there's anything I can fix in that regards ---- Probablemente hayas añadido un descuento en lugar de un impuesto o hayas configurado tu factura como "factura bruta" en lugar de "factura neta". La factura neta es la predeterminada. ¿Por qué no escribiste un correo o publicaste en el foro de la comunidad en lugar de escribir esta reseña? Es ist keine Buchhaltungssoftware, sondern nur ein Hilfsmittel zur Rechnungserstellung. Diesen begrenzten Zweck erfüllt die Software hervorragend. Angebote und Rechnungen können über die Cloud synchronisiert werden, auch quer über verschiedene Plattformen. Es ist also problemlos möglich, z.B. auf dem iPhone ein Angebot zu schreiben, auf dieser Basis später auf dem iPad eine Rechnung zu stellen und diese später auf dem Mac als bezahlt zu markieren und auszudrucken. Negative reviews is the wrong way to notify me about problems, I only see them several days after you write them. In the end, it doesn't help anybody. I'd appreciate it you could update your review - thanks! ### 1/5 — keine Einstellungen möglich - Bug? *2025-10-11, version 1.5.84* Als Freiberufler brauche ich demnächst die Option zur E-Rechnung - nach kurzem Ausprobieren habe ich gleich den eher geringen Betrag für die Pro-Version gezahlt. Leider musste ich schnell feststellen, dass weder Xrechnung noch ZUGFERD-dateien validiert werden können, weil der UST-Satz grundsätzlich auf 0% steht, und im Gegensatz zur Windows-Version auf dem Mac nirgendwo einstellbar ist. In der Rechnung selbst steht der korrekte Satz, er wird aber nicht in die Datei übernommen. So ist die App für mich komplett nutzlos, und die Kohle dahin. Fast noch ärgerlicher ist es, dass ich mich weiter auf die Suche machen muss, nachdem mich schon eingearbeitet hatte. Grundsätzlich fällt aber auch so negativ auf, dass man gegenüber Win nur sehr wenig selbst einstellen, wenn man sich mal in den FAQs und auf GitHub umsieht - ich hätte zB gerne auch etwas am Layout geschraubt... ### 1/5 — was good, now not! *2025-02-26, version 1.5.70* used to be great until i updated the app now it crashes every time i try to open an invoice or edit an estimate. now usless, would like a refund as I have had to move over to quickbooks and manually re write all my invoices and estimates as i cannot even export as a batch. probably my fault, buy cheap, get cheap. i cant afford to wait about for a fix to such a simple program that really shouldnt be able to fail. acutually the main reason i purchased it, i liked the simplicity. SubTotal already remembers items from previous invoices: start typing a description and select a suggestion to also fill in the quantity, price, and tax. Your other ideas overlap with discussions in the community forum, where users can add details and support suggestions. I can’t promise specific features or timelines, but feedback like this helps guide future improvements. ### 3/5 — Ganz gut, aber… *2023-06-18, version 1.4.16* An und für sich eine super App. Gute Synchronisation zwischen den Geräten, pdf-erstellen, gleich Rechnung per Mail senden…. 2 Dinge fehlen mir jedoch: - Rabatt auf die gesamte Rechnung in Prozent (mit Vermerk auf der Rechnung unten) - Produktkatalog, damit Produkte (welche ja eigentlich immer gleich viel kosten) einfach per klick in die Rechnung eingefügt werden kann. I itemize by date. Sometimes after completing a bill I find an outstanding charge that needs to be inserted chronologically into the invoice. Its a real pain to retype the whole invoice to insert one item. * a function to show payments applied, with check or transaction number. This is still a quick, easy to use and useful program. SubTotal will evolve over time, it's only been on the market for about a year and a half, but has since received a good amount of new features in updates. I will not be able to add every single feature requested however, otherwise the app would become very bloated and unusable. What certainly should be possible already is the ability to reorder invoice items using drag and drop. Is this not working for you? Weder in der Bankverbindung noch in der Positionsbeschreibung. Dann hätte ich gerne einen Datumspicker überall wo man ein Datum auswählen kann. Fuer Freelancer fehlt ein Feld Steuernummer (welches bei E-Rechnung aber gibt). Auch hätte ich gerne noch ein Feld Leistungszeitraum mit Von - Bis Datum, welches prominent z.B. unterhalb der Rechnung steht. Beim erstellen einer Rechnung fehlt mir irgendwie ein Speichern Button und ein Revers. **Developer response:** Danke für deine Bewertung. Für Bug Reports und Feature Requests habe ich ein eigenes Forum erstellt, wo diese eingetragen können und von mir priorisiert und besser bearbeitet werden können (z.B. bei Rückfragen). Ich habe in meinen Tests keine Probleme mit Umlauten in der PDF. Evtl. hast du eine eigene Schriftart in die App geladen - dann kann es natürlich sein, dass diese Schriftart gewissen Zeichen nicht unterstützt, das kann ich von meiner Seite auch nicht beheben. Die standardmäßig in der App verfügbaren Schritfarten sollten aber die deutschen Umlaute äüö ohne Probleme in der PDF rendern können. Ist das bei dir nicht der Fall? Ich weiß leider auch welcher Datumspicker dir genau fehlt. Auch das wäre super fürs Forum. Die Steuernummer kann in einem der Freitextfelder unter "Mein Unternehmen" eingetragen werden und wird dann autom. in den E-Rechnungs-Dialog vorausgefüllt. SubTotal ist auf Einfachheit und Minimalismus ausgelegt. Wenn ich jetzt für jeden Datenpunkt ein extra Feld anbiete, dann wird dieser Vorteil zunichte gemacht. I just need to generate invoices for my own services, without all the complicated timers and client functions. GT was perfect before it became so expensive. I don’t need every bell whistle and kazoo, I just needed iCloud backup and sync. That’s not worth renting software for 100’s a year. Do I miss custom PDF templates and yearly reports? Sure. I’ll submit a request, but I’m not complaining about it. I’ve needed this for years. Liefert frei von Ballast, was man braucht. Wird aktiv gepflegt, auch wenn man nur einmal bezahlt. Man wird sich in jede Buchhaltungssoftware einarbeiten müssen. SubTotal macht es aber sehr einfach. Es gibt keinen überflüssigen Ballast. Alles leicht verständlich, auch für Leute, die keine Buchhalter oder Computerspezialisten sind. Hervorzuheben ist, dass SubTotal permanent gepflegt und entwicklet wird. Herzlichen Dank an den vorausschauenden und benutzerfreundlichen Entwickler! Schon lange vor der gestzlichen Frist waren alle notwendigen Formate der e-Rechnungen impliziert. Mit jedem Update kommen werden Aktualisierungen vorgenommen. Einfacher Prozess. Jede neue Rechnung bekommt ihre neue Nummer, die App lernt aus den bisherigen Rechnungsinhalten und schlägt Inhalte vor, die Adressen werden automatisch aus der Kontakte-App kopiert, Versand per mail mit einem Klick, nach Bezahlung letzte Klick. It also cleanly integrates with Workinghours (also highly reccomend) so I don't need to worry about invoices anymore.
