## What is SubTracker?

Can you say what your subscriptions cost you this month?

Streaming, music, cloud storage, AI tools, games. Each one is only a few
dollars, which is exactly why they pile up unnoticed until they are a real
part of your monthly spending. SubTracker puts the total and the next renewal
date on one screen.

■ Add a subscription in seconds
Twenty-five services come built in, including Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, HBO Max,
Spotify, Apple Music, iCloud+, Microsoft 365, ChatGPT and Amazon Prime. Pick
your plan and the price and billing cycle fill themselves in, so you never
have to open a pricing page. Fifty-eight plans are covered. You can also enter
anything by hand.

■ Monthly and yearly totals at once
Mix weekly, monthly and yearly subscriptions freely. SubTracker converts
everything into both a monthly and a yearly total, so an annual plan stops
hiding what it really costs you per month.

■ A reminder before every renewal
Get notified before the next charge lands. Choose same day, 1 day, 3 days or
1 week ahead. Once a renewal date passes, it rolls forward to the next cycle
on its own, so there is nothing to edit.

■ Never get caught by a free trial
Mark a subscription as a trial and you will hear about it one week before and
again the day before it ends. When the trial finishes, it switches to a normal
subscription and joins your totals automatically. No more "I thought that was
still free."

■ See where the money goes
A donut chart breaks spending down by category, a bar chart ranks your
services by monthly cost, and a monthly chart shows how the total moves over
time. Six categories are built in — Entertainment, Work, Living, Learning,
Games and Other — and you can add your own.

■ A list you can actually navigate
Search by service name and sort by name, amount, renewal date or the order you
added things. Pick from 43 icons and 12 colors so you can spot a subscription
at a glance.

■ Everything stays on your device
No account, no sign-in. What you enter is stored on your device and is never
sent to a server. The app makes no network requests other than serving ads.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 2.0 — 2026-09-14

Version 2.0 brings SubTracker to English and rebuilds the preset catalog from
the ground up.

■ Now available in English
On an English device the whole app, including the service catalog, is in
English with US pricing in dollars. Your currency follows your display
language and locks in once you add your first subscription.

■ 25 services with current US pricing
The preset catalog was rebuilt for the US market and now covers 25 services
across 58 plans, including Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, HBO Max, Peacock,
Paramount+, Apple TV, Prime Video, YouTube Premium, Spotify, Apple Music,
iCloud+, Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Cloud, ChatGPT, Claude, Google AI Pro,
Kindle Unlimited, Audible, Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation Plus, Nintendo Switch
Online, Apple Arcade and Amazon Prime.

■ Bug fixes
・The reminder timing in Settings did nothing. Same day, 1 day, 3 days and
1 week now genuinely change when you are notified.
・Editing a subscription silently deleted its renewal reminder, which then
  never arrived again. Fixed.
・Renaming a subscription left a reminder behind under the old name, and two
subscriptions with the same name overwrote each other's notifications.
Reminders are now tied to the subscription itself.
・While a trial was ending soon, a notification fired every time you opened
  the app. Fixed.
・Categories you created yourself were missing from the charts.
・Deleting a category left its subscriptions pointing at nothing. They now
  move to Other.
・The version number in Settings was hard-coded and never updated.

■ Improvements
・You can now choose an icon and a color when adding or editing a
subscription — 43 icons and 12 colors. Previously only presets carried an
  icon.
・The notification and tracking permission prompts used to appear on top of
each other at launch. They are now shown one at a time.
・Dates follow your device settings consistently across every screen.

Your existing data carries over untouched.
