Every lever, button, and switch in the cab is fully functional. Every action has an effect on the interconnected systems throughout the train just as it would in real-world operation. Electrical and pneumatic schematics were fully recreated for every car: each circuit and valve behaves exactly as it does in an authentic train.
Each wheelset is simulated independently on both rails rather than along a simplified centerline. Weight affects inertia, and every coupler is subject to realistic load limits.
The track is recreated to centimeter accuracy, including the placement of rail joints. Real-time suspension simulation reproduces body roll, pitch, vibration, and weight transfer as the train moved along the track.

This game wasn’t my concern at first but then I started playing it daily.
I don’t like how you can’t walk but I do want outside stations, tunnel portals, and more trains.

TSW: TSW has been my favorite game before I saw this game. Downside is that it doesn’t feature underground lines except the bakerloo.

Final: my final answer is that Subtransit drive is the 2# favorite game with TF2 being 1st

Мне 12 лет, сейчас как раз начались 3-месячные летние каникулы, и я всё свободное время провожу в этой игре. Я безумно люблю метро и поезда! Subtransit Drive — это самый лучший и реалистичный симулятор. Модификации 81-717, а также 81-740 и 81-760 сделаны просто невероятно, управление и физика как в жизни!
Моя большая мечта на это лето — открыть все закрытые линии и поезда, но у меня совсем нет карманных денег на полную версию (Full Access), так как я обычный школьник. Очень надеюсь, что разработчики заметят мой отзыв. Спасибо вам за такой крутой проект, вы лучшие!

Обновления 1.5 и 1.5.1 заметно ухудшили производительность и в целом испортили визуальное восприятие игры.
Раньше на iPhone 13 Pro и iPad Pro M2 можно было спокойно получить стабильные 30 FPS в десктопном рендере на средних настройках. Сейчас игра превратилась в слайдшоу даже на минимальных настройках. Более того, лаги появились даже в мобильном рендере — например, при взгляде назад на Новогиреево.
Складывается ощущение, что игра продолжает загружать объекты, депо и ПТО даже тогда, когда их физически не видно игроку. При этом старые проблемы, вроде багов со светом встречных поездов в туннеле между Новокосино и Перово, а также в ПТО Новокосино, так и не исправлены.
Новая система освещения, на мой взгляд, принесла больше минусов, чем плюсов. Да, отдельные сцены стали выглядеть лучше, но общая картинка стала более мыльной, а производительность просела. При въезде на станции иногда ощущение, будто всё вокруг в дымке — хочется протереть глаза. Динамический диапазон тоже стал хуже: раньше свет и тени выглядели естественно, теперь — словно изображение снято на старую VHS-камеру. Тени провалены (например пути на станции), а источники света слепят ореолами. Где-то это выглядит эффектно, но далеко не везде, и точно не оправдывает потерю FPS.
На MacBook Pro 16 с M1 Pro ситуация аналогичная: производительность стала ниже при примерно той же графике, особенно заметны просадки при взгяде назад. В мобильном же рендере на устройствах Apple не вижу смысла: он нагревает устройство и лагает почти так же, как десктопный, при этом выглядит заметно хуже (например странный свет от фар или отсутствие размытия в движении — без него даже 30 FPS воспринимаются как слайдшоу).
Очень хотелось бы увидеть возможность выбора между версией 1.4 и 1.5 или серьёзную переработку версии 1.5 с повышением производительности и частичным откатом визуальных эффектов. Понимаю, что игра готовится к ПК-релизу и вы стремитесь привести всё к единому знаменателю, но на мой взгляд не стоит делать это ценой производительности на мобильных устройствах. Возможно лучше разделить эти игры, в угоду производительности, если уж не тянут мобильные устройства все эти новые замечательные эффекты.
Если бы проблема была только в старом железе — вопросов бы не возникло. Но версии 1.2, 1.3 и 1.4 на тех же устройствах работали значительно лучше. А если даже iPad Pro на M2 уже не справляется нормально, то проблема явно не в железе, а в самих обновлениях.
Очень надеюсь, что вы действительно займетесь оптимизацией, а не просто перейдете на новый Unreal Engine ради самого факта перехода. Потому что в какой-то момент возникает главный вопрос: зачем всё это визуальное улучшение, если играть стало просто некомфортно?
Однако, вся критика в ваш адрес, исключительно из-за большой любви и искреннего желания что бы игра стала лучше. Большое спасибо вам! С нетерпением ждем релиза на ПК и новый контент. Надеюсь, что проблемы с производительностью получится исправить.
