A MORE FORGIVING PICKER The radial number picker used to dim any digit that conflicted with the selected cell's row, column, or 3x3 box — which often grayed out numbers players still wanted to try. Now a digit stays fully available until it is genuinely used up: it dims only when all nine copies are already on the board. The result is a picker that gets out of your way. Follow your own deductions, place a number where you believe it belongs, and let the board tell you if you're right — instead of the picker deciding for you.
