I love it. Though now I have probably jinxed it. Oh well, it has been worth it. I wish he did more great solitaire games. ### 3/5 — Could do with a couple of tweaks *2024-08-03, version 5.2.7* Just a couple of ideas. :) May 2017.... Don't like the font sizes on the "end of game, next game" scenario. Don't know why I review as nothing good comes from it!? I think the game should not penalise you for a mistake you immediately correct. Like just now, made a mistake but corrected myself within half a second. Played on then saw I got penalised 8 minutes or something for a mistake I spotted and corrected myself. The game should NOT be so quick showing the mistake and applying the penalty.... A year later and it still penalises you for a mistake you make AND correct less than a second later.... Oh yes! I’ve played about 50,000 games! Yes! That is fifty thousand!!!! It’s now the start of August 2024 and the game still punishes you for a misplacement you correct within a couple of seconds. This is the ONLY bad thing about this App. I have now played over 100K games at “Difficult” level…. 🙏👍 ### 2/5 — Buttons not working *2024-07-17, version 5.2.7* I have enjoyed this app for years. But in the lat year when I press hint, it just goes to the icon. Please fix. Also cannot open settings. Same thing happens. ### 5/5 — Most functional I’ve found *2024-06-06* I love Sudoku and have tried many apps and websites, but this app has the best functionality by far, IMO. You can enter numbers in two different ways, so you can fill in all the squares containing a certain digit or you can fill in all the digits that belong in one square. This really makes the difference when solving for speed. The hints function doesn’t just fill in a cell; it guides you through the reasoning and teaches you about strategy so you learn as you play. I wish the NYT sudoku app was half as functional as this one! ### 5/5 — Excellent Sudoku app *2024-04-24, version 5.2.7* With many levels of difficulty there are daily puzzles for everyone. I really like the hint and learn more features as different solving strategies occur in the different levels, some of which you don’t see very often in other apps. It provides a world of games at any level of difficulty you want; it also provided all of the help you might perhaps want, even going back to the point where the puzzle is solvable if you’ve made mistakes. Superb. ### 5/5 — IT LETS YOU COLOR *2024-03-30* I downloaded 17 apps to find one that would let me color squares. It can’t be that hard of a function to implement, right? Anyways, thank the lord. Two note though (if you still update this app: 1-you should make it easier for people to know how to color. I had to go all the way into settings just to find the option, which I didn’t find on my first download of the app. Google had to help me on that one 2-if recommend advertising that you can color with this app, I’m sure you’ll get some extra traction from more advance sudoku players looking to color. Maybe change your name to “Sudoku:Color” or something like that (which is the first thing I searched for) Anyways, thank god this app lets me color. I was about to quit my search ### 5/5 — The Best Sudoku App *2024-03-10, version 5.2.7* My dad installed this same app on my iPod touch 10 years ago, and since then, I have played over 100,000 games. I have made sure to back up every device I’ve had to make sure this app get installed, even if it get removed from the app store. Update Ur App! *2025-02-15, version 5.2.7* This was my all-time favorite app, but after the most recent update, it is so huge on the screen of my iPad, I can’t even play it. There are no setting options to get it back to how it was. So disappointed. ### 1/5 — Crashes *2025-02-14, version 5.2.7* 14/2/25 I used this in the past on my iPad (air2) and never had a problem. Put it on iPhone 15 and it constantly crashes when wanting to use hint, save and exit etc. Basically once a game loads from the main menu you have to play it without using hint or anything in the menu. You got no stats. I deleted it, replaced it, sent feedback. No answers received. Now I see that you can buy a weekly subscription for $1.99. So they deliberately messed up the game to force those of us who play it daily to buy the subscription. SHAME! Makes a great game greater with lessons on different solution elements on levels from beginner to really, really, really tough!
