Most of the problem puzzles were ones that I had been previously able to play without a problem. Furthermore, since I am trying to work on these puzzles to help me with my mind, it is almost cruel to encounter such a flaw in the software. It really is the best one I've played yet and you can even challenge your friends to beat you in live party play, or play against a complete stranger by choosing the next available player option. If you never before played Sudoku, or are struggling to master it, then turning on auto pencil marks will help you to see how it works and then you'll quickly progress through putting in your own pencil marks and ultimately to playing a whole game without any. The board is lovely and clear and the highlighting of the selected number makes it really easy to spot just where you can't place the next one (this is an option you turn on/off). Another useful feature when you first start playing is turning on the option to mark conflicts, so that if you place a number incorrectly it will flash and beep at you - seconds are added to your time for this but sometimes it's worth a penalty! There are three new puzzles to play every day; easy, medium and hard. If you need more puzzles you can unlock previous days and keep playing for hours but I find three a day are enough to keep me happy.
