Since the last update 08/02/2018, the game is not playable. Menu buttons have no description and not possible to enter numbers. Please fix it

I've played suduko before but needed some instructions to remind myself but there wasn't any, and I had no idea how to even start to at least try and teach myself

Since the last major update the app doesn't explain how you can earn points and doesn't seem to add points to my total. The Sudoko element works well and is enjoyable. I've now discovered that you only get points if you're one of the four fastest players of the day for each game level. This isn’t helped by the app hanging for several seconds on my iPads (iPad 4 and iPad series 98) running IOS10, 11 and 12. The app hangs for 5-10 secs several times a game on my iPad 2018 running IOS 14 which is particularly frustrating when playing against the clock.
