But it recently developed a glitch on i think the easy level or the gentle level where the timer doesn’t start sometimes. And when that happens your record is permanently in the top 100% of user and you can’t reset it without deleting and no the app and trying again from the beginning… then you do it again because it will happen again. Other than this glitch the app was great. But i had to delete it. ### 3/5 — Loud ads *2024-05-31, version 3.1* The game itself is great. One of the things I loved was the way I got told how long each solution I found took me and how many errors I made along the way. It also told me when I had a new, personal best time. Suddenly all that has disappeared and all I get on completing a game is an inane comment designed, I assume, to encourage me (eg: "congratulations! Five easy games completed. You are a sudoku hero" or similar). I could find no setting to reverse this situation, so I emailed the author asking whether I had unwittingly brought this on myself and how I could reverse it. To date, a week or so later, all I have from her is a resounding silence. And still about 3 weeks after further asking for help. I can now see that TIMER in settings must be set to ON, but when I do that I get the same silly result, and when I check settings the Timer is OFF. I wonder how to make it stay on...??? This change has completely spoiled the game for me! ### 1/5 — Good and bad *2017-01-04, version 2.1* The averages don't work anymore! I can no longer seek to improve my lifetime average .... New version takes a bit of getting used to, but it's growing on me now. Much faster updates than before. Downside - and this is a biggy - the stats no longer work! The averages are now locked on my machine at 1.26 for all levels. This is very very annoying. Please can you sort it out so the stats work properly please?! Thanks ### 1/5 — Sudoku *2016-12-07, version 2.1* I have played and enjoyed this game for years but I am very disappointed in the new update. My lifelong averages have disappeared and my stats page has frozen. Please find a solution. I liked to play one game from each level but no point in doing this now. Also my average is the same for each level! In my opinion this game was perfect and now it has been ruined. ### 1/5 — Annoying ads on new version *2014-11-19, version 1.3* This was my favourite app - until it stopped working. Reloaded it and the updated version has distracting and annoying, active advertisements for cars etc. now removed from my tablet. Shame........ Been reloaded several times and keeps stalling. The only way to get rid of the stall is to remove and reload. The problems with reloading are that all scores are lost and you have to start over. The layout is beautiful. It has everything you need to make guesses that don't count against you while you're figuring out what number fits where. What more could you want. It does have some advertising in between games, but so far they aren't obtrusive with loud sound and it's easy to "X" them away. The addition of sound was a bad idea for me. There is no option to turn the sound off.
