### 5/5 — Revolutionary app!

*2026-08-06*

I have been using this app for quite a while now and it’s changed the way I manage my diabetes.

I use a dexcom one plus sensor and this app has given me the alerts missing from this sensor such as fast rise/fall and the urgent low soon.
This really helps me prevent hypos and act faster than I normally could.

I had a few recent issues with my membership but after a few messages to the team this was solved within minutes.
I don’t normally write reviews but this app is certainly worth downloading.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for this! Adding extra early-warning options like the fast rise and fall alerts and the heads-up before a low, on top of what your sensor already does, is exactly why we built Sugar Sense, so hearing it helps you act sooner means a lot to the whole team. And we are glad the membership hiccup was sorted quickly, that is what we are here for. If you ever need anything, support@sugarsense.io is always open. Thank you for taking the time to write this!

### 5/5 — Great resource

*2026-08-06*

Clean and simple way to keep myself informed and monitor my numbers. Great tool

**Developer response:** Thank you, Julian! Clean and simple is exactly what we go for: everything you need to stay informed at a glance, and nothing you do not. If an idea for making it even better ever comes to mind, we are always listening at support@sugarsense.io. Thanks for taking the time to write this!

### 5/5 — Wish I found it sooner!

*2026-08-03*

The only feedback I have is I wish I found it sooner. With Sugar sense, I am able to see where my number is trending. The alerts when I am 90 or 80 saying I’ll be low in 20 minutes is a game changer. It’s learned me and my numbers to alert when I should treat before it’s too late. That has helped me stay in range more and helped me not correct too soon.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much, Macy, this made our whole team's day! That heads-up before a low is exactly why we built the predictive alert: those extra minutes let you act early and calmly instead of reacting after the fact, and hearing it has helped you stay in range more is the best outcome we could ask for. If you ever have questions or ideas, we are always at support@sugarsense.io. Wishing you many more steady days ahead!

### 5/5 — Works well, has some really nice features

*2026-04-02*

The app takes BGL from Libre site, or for one other sensory type. It took a little tweaking to get working. With Libre Freestyle it’s important to realise that it doesn’t take the readings directly from LibreLink, but from LibreLinkUp. Get both apps and register your Libre Freestyle sensor on LibreLinkUp. After that your BGL will be drawn from that site rather than directly from the sensor. That gives limits, such as no updates while in airplane mode or no internet connection. But other than that I can my blood glucose readings on my watch and I can put a chart on my phone lock screen, meaning I can stay always up to date. In addition it will send and receive to Health, a feature I desperately wanted for the Libre freestyle.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the thoughtful review and for explaining the LibreLinkUp setup so clearly, that is exactly how the Libre connection works and your write-up will help other users. A lot has happened since version 1.2: Sugar Sense 2.0 is now live with a full redesign, Dexcom and Nightscout support, Apple Health as a glucose source, an AI food scanner, daily insights and a Morning Report, detailed statistics with Time in Range and AGP, and Care Circle so family members can follow your glucose and get alerts. Update to 2.0 and let us know what you think at support@sugarsense.io. Thanks for being with us!

### 2/5 — Family Plan = READ ONLY

*2026-09-04*

Type 1 parents who's T1D warrior uses pens and a G7 : this app charges for read only family plans to acces the T1D's apple ID and G7 info. While it does have lots of cool widget and safety features, the biggest flaw is parents cant add doses to the log from their premium family member apps on their own phones, only the diabetics phone 🙄 guess the wait continues.

### 5/5 — My CGM data viewer of choice

*2026-09-04*

As a new user of a CGM, I was keen to see the data that it would provide about my daily diabetes ups and downs;and indeed there were immediate revelations which I was able to act upon.
But the way in which data was displayed in the CGM apps of the manufacturers (first Dexcom and then Libre) did seem to me to make it a bit of a chore to delve into it in a frictionless way to understand more about my diabetes.
When I tried Sugar Sense I immediately felt comfortable with the data presentation.
At a glance I see what's happening right now with my numbers; and when I want it, it takes one Click to see a more in-depth data view, all on-screen without having to export or print, although those functions are available too.
Sugar Sense is now my first choice as a window to view my data and learn from it.
Sugar Sense can connect to Libre and Dexcom and certain other CGMs (but their own link apps are needed too).
It also lets you see your current glucose number at a glance by placing an optional display on the phone’s lock screen: tap the phone screen and there’s the number.
I can be out walking with my phone in my pocket and have Siri read out my number whenever I ask, direct to my in-ear hearing device. Or if my Watch was not such an old model I could display it on there through Sugar Sense’s own app.
It also connects to CarPlay and automatically displays my glucose number on that screen, so it is always available when I am driving.
Support from the developers is first class. I have had fast comprehensive and thoughtful email responses to my queries. Most impressively, when I reported what I thought was a false or anomalous nighttime low reading, Sugar Sense was quick to drill down into the data history around this reading and established that there was no bug of false reading and explain it all to me in an enlightening way.
A great app from a developer who is himself a T1 diabetic and understands the needs.

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2026-08-28*

This app has it all! Everything works perfect including the a”Live Activities” I highly recommend this for all diabetics!

**Developer response:** Thank you! Great to hear Live Activities are working perfectly for you, keeping your glucose right on the Lock Screen is one of our favorite parts too. More is on the way soon. If you ever need anything, we are at support@sugarsense.io.

### 5/5 — Best app

*2026-08-25*

Sugar Sense: CGM and A1C Tracker is a convenient app for keeping health information organized in one place. The interface is clean, simple, and easy to navigate, making it straightforward to review readings and track changes over time. I like how the information is presented clearly without feeling overwhelming. It can be useful for maintaining a consistent tracking routine and staying more aware of daily health trends and progress.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the kind words! Clear and calm is exactly what we aim for: your readings, trends and history in one place, easy to check at a glance without feeling overwhelming. Sugar Sense works with Libre, Dexcom and Nightscout, and you can also log readings manually or bring them in from Apple Health, so the same clean view fits almost any routine. A big update is on its way with even more. If you ever need anything, we are at support@sugarsense.io.

### 5/5 — It really helps

*2026-08-15*

Sugar Sense makes it really easy to keep an eye on glucose levels without constantly checking everything manually. I especially like the real-time alerts and predictive low warning, and the Apple Watch integration makes the information even more convenient to access. The family sharing feature is also a thoughtful touch for anyone who wants someone they trust to keep an eye on their readings.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much, Derek! Reviews like this mean a lot to our whole team. The predictive low warning and the Apple Watch app are the parts we have worked on the longest, so it is great to hear they make your daily routine easier. And family sharing exists because I live with type 1 myself and know the peace of mind it gives the people around us. If you ever have questions or ideas, we are always at support@sugarsense.io. ### 5/5 — helpful in daily life

*2026-08-12*

Sugar Sense makes glucose monitoring feel much easier with real time readings, customizable alerts, and a clean interface that’s easy to check throughout the day. I especially like the predictive low alerts and Care Circle feature, which make it reassuring to stay on top of trends and keep family informed. The free core features offer a lot of value, and the overall experience feels thoughtfully designed for everyday CGM tracking.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much, Seni! Keeping the core free was a deliberate choice from day one: monitoring, alerts and Care Circle following should never sit behind a paywall, so it means a lot that the value comes through. And it is great to hear the predictive low alerts and the clean, glanceable design help you stay on top of trends and keep your family in the loop, that is exactly the everyday experience we are building for. If you ever have questions or ideas, we are always at support@sugarsense.io. Thank you for taking the time to write this!

### 5/5 — Credible app

*2026-08-11*

Such an incredible app to track health especially sugar level, this app allows you to create your own logbook for its best tracking and also connect directly to your apple health making it quite easy to do it its main assignment by also setting up a reminder for the user. Haven’t heard or seen any tracking app as credible as this

**Developer response:** Thank you so much!
