## What is Summa?

See 1 ÷ 3 as 1/3 and √8 as 2√2. Summa combines exact fractions and roots with function graphs, unit conversions and everyday scientific calculations.

KEEP THE EXACT ANSWER
Work with fractions, simplified roots and supported exact trigonometric values: sin(30°) = 1/2 and sin(45°) = √2/2. See a live result as you type, before pressing equals.

EXPLORE A FUNCTION
Enter an expression in x, plot the graph, pan and zoom, and trace values along the curve. Reuse named variables from your calculations.

CONVERT EVERYDAY UNITS
Convert length, mass, temperature, area, volume, speed, time, data, pressure and energy, including imperial units. Unit conversion works offline. Currency conversion offers 39 currencies with online exchange rates.

SOLVE MORE IN ONE PLACE
Use statistics, quadratic and 2×2 linear equation solvers, or switch between binary, octal, decimal and hexadecimal in programmer mode.

KEEP YOUR WORK
Revisit calculation history and load an expression back into the calculator. Define variables such as a = 5 and use them in later calculations and graphs.

A COMPLETE SCIENTIFIC KEYPAD
Trigonometric and inverse functions, hyperbolic functions, logarithms, powers, roots, factorial, π and e. Choose DEG, RAD or GRAD and 8, 10, 12 or 15 significant digits. Exact-fraction display and thousands separators are optional.

MADE FOR IPHONE AND IPAD
Light and dark appearance, portrait and landscape layouts, 30 languages and localized number formatting.

NO ADS. NO ACCOUNT. NO SUBSCRIPTION.
Calculations and unit conversions run on your device. Summa has no analytics or tracking. Currency rates require an internet connection and are fetched from ExchangeRate-API, with Frankfurter as a fallback. Rate availability and update times depend on the provider; no personal calculation data is sent.
