Don’t like the new app *2022-06-19, version 3.0.1* App does not seem to work. Tried to download and it worked great before but does not seem to work now. ### 3/5 — No Car Play ... I like the content but it takes forever to load and gets stuck on an article and freezes. Even if I close the app or restart iPad and open the app again it's still frozen on the same article. It includes book reviews, summaries, and downloads of books reviews, but 90% of them are completely trash I've had this app for a while and you have to redownload it every week or it crashes like a baby driving a semi-truck. There is nothing I like about this cheap, dreadful, godawful app. If I could change the app I would make it so I didn't have to redownload it every week, just to get my book downloads and reviews. It is total crap compared to the other app I downloaded. This app has a hard to use main screen because the colors blends in and it's hard to see the tabs. The other app I downloaded made everything easier because you start on a page that reminds you where everything is and how to use it. This app barely tells you how to use it and what it features. I would give this app 0/5 stars if I could... ### 1/5 — Great Summaries - App needs work *2014-12-31, version 1.2.2* I have to constantly uninstall and reinstall the app to be able to access my library if I haven't downloaded a format to use. I love the summaries and the audio option is a huge plus. Its nearly impossible to get all of your books in your download stream without uninstalling and reinstalling the app each month and, at that, few if any ever open or download into another format. Aside from being extremely annoying, a failure of this magnitude is a serious detraction from their brand. This app feels like someone said ten years ago “Hey, I guess we should make an app”. They did enough to check that box and then moved on. Finding it after install…Type “Book”?… No results. Really?! Want to listen to the book and see the text at the same time. Not possible!! For TWO HUNDRED dollars per year. Cancelling my subscription. ### 1/5 — Scam *2024-12-12, version 5.0.0* This is a subscriber hostage taker masquerading as a legitimate service providers. The search function will not return any book selections. Hence my library remains empty. I’ve not been able to listen to a single book. 2. I’ve tried to cancel my subscription, but when I select the Account view the product errors out. So, conveniently for them, their crappy product keeps me from cancelling my subscription.
