## What is Summer Reading Club Challenge?

Summer Reading turns the summer into a friendly challenge.

Log the books you finish, sync your daily steps from Apple Health, and track the podcasts you listen to. Then watch everyone's progress on a shared leaderboard and feed. React to someone's latest read, leave a comment, and keep each other moving all season long.

Built for a private group of friends and family.

• LIBRARY — Log every book you finish with a rating and a note. Browse the whole group's shelves.
• STEPS — Sync daily step counts straight from Apple Health, or add them by hand.
• PODCASTS — Track the shows and episodes you're listening to.
• LEADERBOARD — See who's ahead by books, steps, podcasts, or overall — this week, this month, or all season.
• FEED — A shared activity stream with reactions and threaded comments.
• GOALS — Set personal targets for books, steps, and podcast minutes.

Sign in with Apple. No ads, no tracking, no selling your data. Your activity is only ever visible to your own challenge group.

- Kids get their own leaderboard. Junior readers now have a separate Juniors board, so the little ones are ranked among themselves instead of against the grown-ups.
- Talk about the books. You can now leave comments and reactions on books in the community library, and the activity feed keeps scrolling back as far as you want.
- Parents are in charge of comments. You can remove comments on your own books and your children's books.
- Support for Google authentication for users without an Apple ID
