## What is Summerfield Neighbors?

Summerfield Neighbors is a private app for the residents of the Summerfield community in Holtsville, New York. It brings neighbors together in one place to stay informed, have a say, and look out for one another.

Only verified Summerfield households can join. After you create an account, you choose your address and upload a recent bill in your name. An administrator confirms it and then deletes the bill, so everyone you meet in the app is a real neighbor.

HAVE A SAY
• Community votes: one vote per household, with results shown as totals only
• Petitions residents can sign, with printable signature reports for organizers

STAY CONNECTED
• Messages with all neighbors, your street, interest groups or one-on-one
• An opt-in neighbor directory where you choose what to share
• Community events with RSVPs and volunteer sign-ups

LOOK OUT FOR EACH OTHER
• Safety alerts for lost pets, packages, road issues and suspicious activity
• A local marketplace to lend, borrow, sell or give away
• Trusted service recommendations from neighbors
• Community documents in one place

SAFE AND RESPECTFUL
• Report any post, message or person to moderators
