Every time I try to Schedule clients the times just glitch. I have to do it 3x to get the right sometimes. It’s very frustrating. I feel they need to do an update. I still think very highly of this app but have a bug issue and a suggestion. Bug issue: like another recent reviewer, I am running into sync issues that either duplicate entries or scramble together tasks and calendar entries. Suggestion: make it easier to prioritize tasks by giving the option of assigning them numbers. Finally, the suggestion at the end of my original review still stands. My original review: This is a spectacular app! I used another one for many years that was abandoned by its developer and have been searching for a new app ever since. I tried four others, one for over a year, and all came up short. Not this one! So easy to use, so intuitive, and it has all the features I was looking for. I love its flexibility. The interface is excellent. Really well thought out. Thank you! One suggestion: It would be great to be able to schedule things one, two years in advance more easily than scrolling through the calendar month by month. ### 3/5 — Great idea but has issues *2021-08-31, version 2.1.5* This is a great idea and was exactly what I was looking for. It has a clean, minimal, and easy to use interface. However, the app has a lot of trouble with syncing and keeping my items in the sorted order (by time). A few years ago I had upgraded to premium to support development as their support was responsive, although unhelpful. Disappointed to see that the issues still persist. ### 2/5 — Was a great app but has become glitchy lately. *2021-04-26, version 2.1.5* Was a fantastic app, no complaints and loved everything about it. However, starting a few months ago it started having two issues: first, it would randomly cross off tasks or reinstate tasks. This is extremely annoying because I’ll lose stuff that I needed to do and I just don’t trust it anymore. Second, it’s become harder to drag tasks up/down. This is really minor but the random task completion is a deal killer. ### 3/5 — Add Tasks with Siri not working *2021-01-12, version 2.1.4* Love the app with it’s calendar based task view, but would love to start using voice to create tasks. Unfortunately, even with the option in Summit enabled, I cannot get this feature to work no matter what I say (“In Summit remind me...” or “Remind me to ... in Summit”). It seems Siri is trying to route this request through the stock Reminders app, which I don’t have installed. iOS 14.3 ### 3/5 — Recent Bugs *2020-10-05* I’ve been using this app for like two and a half years now but recently it’s been glitching a lot. It takes forever to open, and when trying to mark a task as complete (or just to add a new task), it either takes a long time or it freezes/crashes. I really love this app, with its simplistic look and user friendliness, but these recent bugs are time consuming and just plain annoying. As a developer myself, I think you need to make the app’s response rate faster (when it comes to user input) and fix these bugs once in for all. ### 4/5 — New problem- loses tasks *2020-08-17, version 2.1.3* I have been using Summit for about a year With no problems. Now, suddenly, tasks are suddenly disappearing. This means general disruption , missed appointments And so on. Reluctantly,I have to switch to a different daily planner. If the app is five star all the way except that it loses tasks, then for that reason alone will becomes one star. Too bad 🙁 ### 2/5 — Bugs- unreliable *2020-05-18, version 2.1.3* Would’ve been perfect. Regret getting Pro. Liked that it was a private app that allowed me to swipe events as well as tasks. Switching apps. ### 1/5 — Was amazing until 5 minutes ago *2020-03-14, version 2.1.3* The app deleted everything I had put in for the year. I got a notification about a task this morning. I went to mark it as completed and it wouldn’t work. Next thing I know it vanished, along with everything else. I’m a photographer and every wedding and session I had booked and put in the calendar are gone. I’ve relied on this app for a couple years now and I’m livid. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Have pro - stopped syncing between iPad & phone *2023-09-12, version 2.1.5* Started having trouble with iPad and phone syncing. iPad is main device, so I deleted it from phone and reinstalled. Now, the phone app won’t load any of my data even though its connected to iCloud. Have deleted app and reloaded repeatedly - have also shut down phone and iPad several times. Need a fix or am going to request a refund from Apple. So much time wasted with all the recurring tasks and events already set up. ### 1/5 — Nope *2022-03-21, version 2.1.5* It started out great. However, I got to the point where items would disappear from my calendar. Not just once or twice as a fluke. Every time! I had to keep double checking new entries. I would also have to cross off items repeatedly, as they would not show completed throughout the day. I downloaded a different app, and have not had any of those issues at all. But now this app starting to work really slowly... I have to wait more than 5 seconds until it starts to work normally when I open it and also, during it using, it is also make all activities really slow... Sometime some of my points losing, disapearing and changing, but it is not a biggest problem for me. The main problem is really slow work of the app. How you can fix it? It’s not that it’s a bad app, it’s just that I found something that worked better for me. I didn’t want Summit accessing my calendar after I deleted the app, so I went to lists and deleted all the calendars. Then I went into my calendar app to add a couple things. Summit not only deleted the events from the app, it deleted all the events from my calendar, including my family’s calendar!!!! Maybe Summit should provide a warning that it will remove the event from both Summit and your calendar, or just leave it on your calendar in the first place. Summit was a great app, except for this problem. I now have to go through my calendar and add all the events I can remember, including holidays. If you want to delete something from Summit but not from your synced calendar, make sure it is somewhere else first. ### 1/5 — Great concept but massively buggy *2020-06-23, version 2.1.3* I really, really want to love this app. It’s a great concept. But it consistently deletes my events and lists, and while the developers have reached out to me before and tried to help, it just continues to happen. It’s deeply frustrating and I’ve never had an app be this unreliable and buggy. It seems they need to work on the iOS version of this pretty extensively. ### 1/5 — Charged before trial ended!! *2020-04-29, version 2.1.3* I was charged days before the trial was over, I had the app all of 2 days and the trial was longer then that. I went to cancel because I just couldn’t understand the app and canceled it the next thing I know they charged me $29.00. I understand charging me once the trial was up and if I didn’t canceled. I’m telling you now, don’t even bother with this app, if you do READ THE DESCRIPTION FULLY FIRST! I use it everyday and I love it. Simple, easy to use design. Not overly complicated. The ONLY thing it doesn’t do that I wish it did was allow me to share my lists with family members in some way so I could share tasks and events with my husband. I’m the type of person that gets very overwhelmed with things like planning for a week or a month but seeing it one day at a time helps loads and eases my brain a lot. I also enjoy the colors and simplicity it makes it easy for me to use and look at and catches my attention enough so that I keep wanting to go back and check off the tasks on my list. It’s pretty much perfect for me in every way with the exception of easy meal planning. Id love to see an option to add what’s for lunch and dinner at minimum. For now my work arounds are made calendar for them, but it’s a little cumbersome. It’s awesome at helping me keep track of all to-dos and events much more efficiently that my paper planner.
