When traveling I use it to determine sunset so I can plan when to find motel or campsite.  I also use it for moonset/rise for astronomy purposes.  Wish I could name saved locations.

I love this app! It does everything it advertises, plus some I did not expect. The compass is a jewel for pre-planning sunrise and moonrise locations for photography. It is a "must have" for photographers, boaters, beach walkers, and anyone else who needs or wants info related to the sun and moon.

Just spent an hour trawling through all the sunrise/sunset apps on the app store when I stumbled across this one with no reviews. It is really easy to use, with nice big clear graphics with no gimmicks to try and make it look impressive. My wife asked me when it would be getting dark after the school holidays for our daughter and now I can answer the question for any time and any place and no network connection required. Well done, does the job perfectly and at a good price!

I've been writing a series of novels on WW 2.  The main character is a military scout, who is often forced to work at a night.  Trying to be as accurate as possible, I have looked to many sources for accurate moon and sun data.  One Ipad solution proved inaccurate, but Sun n Moon meshes with other sources and, I hope, renders them obsolete.  So far, I love it.

It is an outstanding application with so many practical options for location settings. It would be nice if we can have an option of time setting in GMT instead of local time. Best feature of this application is that it works off line also. Can you please make it for iPhone also

This is a pretty cool app and does what it says.   I do wish it came with a months view of moons so you could see ahead of what days their would be a full moon.  then I would give it 5 stars.
