## What is Sun Position Viewer?

Know where the sun rises and sets, and how high the sun is at each point. All from your point of view.

You can see the sun's movement through your iPhone or iPad.  

If you want to know the sun's position at a certain date, no problem, you can set any date you want. So you can see the difference between seasons.

This app also tells you at what time the sun will rise and set, and it has a handy sun compass.

Doesn’t work at all.

This app is great at what it does, but, it only works some of the time - it appears there is a calibration issue because sometimes it will work and I can match up the sun outside my window with the AR location, at other times it is off by about 10-15 degrees!

I tried other Sun locaters and they do not have this problem, seems you need to build in a way to let the user calibrate by pressing a button when the sun is directly in front of you (camera in AR) and then measure your points from there based on the current time - fix that and get 5 stars, otherwise I cannot rely on the app.

Really cool idea but it doesn’t work. It can’t even accurately guess the position of the sun right now. Disappointed it’s a paid app that doesn’t work.

From the description it seemed like I could put in an address and see the path of the sun anywhere I wanted. From what I see in the app, it just shows me the sun's path where I am, which I can pretty much figure that out by looking up at the sky. I wanted an app to show me where the sun would be at a particular place, and time, so I would know the best time to get that perfect photo. That way I would know what time to go to that place to get the photo.
