I bought this but was a waste of money. It’s very basic and doesn’t give you any options to choose where you want to see the sun. Save your money. Thank god it doesn’t cost much in the first place

Really cool idea but it doesn’t work. It can’t even accurately guess the position of the sun right now. Disappointed it’s a paid app that doesn’t work.

This app is great at what it does, but, it only works some of the time - it appears there is a calibration issue because sometimes it will work and I can match up the sun outside my window with the AR location, at other times it is off by about 10-15 degrees!

I tried other Sun locaters and they do not have this problem, seems you need to build in a way to let the user calibrate by pressing a button when the sun is directly in front of you (camera in AR) and then measure your points from there based on the current time - fix that and get 5 stars, otherwise I cannot rely on the app.

From the description it seemed like I could put in an address and see the path of the sun anywhere I wanted. From what I see in the app, it just shows me the sun's path where I am, which I can pretty much figure that out by looking up at the sky. I wanted an app to show me where the sun would be at a particular place, and time, so I would know the best time to get that perfect photo. That way I would know what time to go to that place to get the photo.
