Want to ask, where will sun be at sunset, based on location. ### 4/5 — Extremely Useful *2026-07-17, version 8.1.2* Sun Seeker has a real elegant simplicity in its design and functionality that is very impressive. Every function is useful. The biggest issue is the inability to zoom in and out of the 3D mode, it would make it so much easier to get an overall perspective especially on the phone. And to a lesser degree the map could use a weather overlay so you could see how things like cloud cover were affecting the topography, but frankly this needs to be implemented on the Wind Seeker app first and then maybe added here. ### 4/5 — iWatch bug *2026-07-11, version 8.1.2* I love having Sun Seeker on my iWatch. However, if you wear your watch on your left wrist with the digital crown on the left, then the sun path is rendered upside down. I’m sure this will be a simple fix. In my professional life as a Photographer, this was an excellent helper. The app is astonishingly outdated, displaying data from 2021, and it fails spectacularly at locating the Sun. Sadly, the compass isn’t accurate. And when I say it isn’t accurate, I don’t mean by a few degrees - It is saying west is south… I checked to make sure it wasn’t my device that was off, but the compass app works perfectly well. I ended up downloading a free app that is similar to this one and the compass also works perfectly on that. Sad that this app isn’t working because it has better features and a better layout than the free apps. I hope they fix it! ### 1/5 — Old Satellite Map *2025-09-26, version 8.0* The satellite map used in this app shows an empty lot at my address; our house was built over a year ago. This does not help me at all. I purchased the app to see shade areas caused by the house throughout the year so I could plan my gardens accordingly. Similar apps are current. Very disappointed! ### 1/5 — Unclear $14.99 Charge + No Refund Support *2025-09-22, version 8.0* I was charged $14.99 for this app without realizing it. The price was not displayed until after pressing Get, and Face ID instantly confirmed the purchase. This was made by a minor on my device without my consent. I requested a refund from Apple twice, and both times it was denied. Apple Support then told me to contact the developer directly. I’ve already emailed them, and I am waiting for a proper resolution. Until this is fixed, I cannot recommend this app. Developers should ensure transparent pricing and support customers fairly when unauthorized or accidental purchases occur. ### 1/5 — Never Accurate *2025-08-26, version 7.2.1* I refused that my positioning on my iPhone is inaccurate, so I blamed it on the App/software.
