## What is Sun Wander?

Wander toward more sun.

Sun Wander helps you find a brighter direction for your next walk. When nearby sunlight looks promising, white directional indicators point you toward it. Follow the light at your own pace, without choosing a destination.

See estimated building shadows on a 2D or 3D map. Whether you’re strolling through Central Park or exploring your neighborhood, you can see where the sunlight falls and which way to wander next.

Scrub the timeline to see how sunlight and shade change through the day. Turn weather on to account for the forecast, and use the sun compass to understand the sun’s direction as you move.

Optional Golden hour and Before sunset reminders help you make time to get outside. Choose how many minutes before sunset you want a reminder to head out for some daylight.

No account required. Sun and shadow calculations run on your phone. Location access enables the live experience; map and weather downloads require an internet connection. Sunlight guidance and shadows are estimates, and coverage varies.
