Old-So far I’ve been interested in the menu. But they use Veho, which will leave your box of food out in the parking lot and mark it as delivered. They have left my food in like 5 or 6 different spots, and the delivery is very inconsistent. Tasty, healthy, sustainable, & convenient, I reduced my rating due to offering fewer Paleo recipes and changes in the past year or so. I am still a customer but I skip due to recipes being leas appealing and fewer options. ### 3/5 — Was really good once *2025-12-17, version 3.1.2* This service was really good when we started using it a long time ago. Lately though they have been delivering too late to be useful, the delivery drivers don’t mark the boxes as delivered and also don’t ring the doorbell. There have also been increasing issues with missing ingredients and recipe cards. I decided to try it again. Quality of food has gone down. I’ve received meals that had one day left on their Best Buy date. Not worthy of the price point which for 5 meals is $80. Please fix again! ### 5/5 — Fantastic Exotic Meals *2025-02-17, version 2.7.7* We’ve been ordering Sun Basket for almost 8 years. Husband learned how to cook using Sun Basket instructions. I am a world traveler with a fetish for exotic Asian food. Sun Basket knocks those Asian meals out of the park. There is usually at least one delicious choice for Asian food. They now have other options like steaks, lobster, and other fish with separate sides like Mac n cheese that you can just order to cook. It’s our one stop shop for the week. Husband can cook it by himself. No spoiling produces or seasonings I’ll never use again. About half of our last 10 deliveries have arrived a day late or not arrived at all. We’ve contacted customer service multiple times, but nothing has improved. For a weekly meal subscription, dependable delivery is essential — and right now, that’s not happening. I’ve tried several meal kits, and this is by far the best one. I cook with it four times a week and almost always love the meals. That said, there’s one frustrating issue: even though my preferences are set to Vegetarian, meals with meat still get sent occasionally. I reached out to support, and they basically told me I need to manually check the menu every single week to avoid this. But the whole point of using a meal kit service is convenience. Things get busy, and last week I forgot to check. Sure enough, I was automatically sent chicken. Please update the app so it actually honors user preferences. Putting the burden on paying customers to double-check every week defeats the purpose of the service. I’d happily update this to a five-star review if this issue is ever resolved. I truly love Sunbasket otherwise and have never had any other problems. If someone from the Sunbasket team is reading this, feel free to reach out. The food is always fresh, delicious, and incredibly easy to prepare. It makes eating well so much more convenient, especially on busy days, and I’ve found it to be very affordable for the quality and convenience you get. What really sets Sunbasket apart, though, is their customer service. On the rare occasion that something has been wrong with an order or a delivery has arrived late because of a shipping/post office issue, Sunbasket has made it right immediately and with absolutely no hassle. No arguing, no jumping through hoops—they simply take care of it. Great food, great variety, convenience, reasonable prices, and a company that actually stands behind its service. I wish Sun Basket had meals for type A blood which means no tomatoes no sweet potatoes fish is OK but not shellfish beef is a no no pork is a no no.
