E.g. sound a noisy aggressive alarm before the charge gets so low that you can't return to your starting point. The first scooter I tried was locked even after I unlocked it through the app. I had to switch to another scooter, but it still wasn’t working properly. I had to move the throttle up and down twice in a row just to get it to start and it was no clear I had to do that. To make matters worse, my scooter died shortly after I started using it, even though it had 42% battery life at the beginning. There was no indication on the app or the scooter itself that it was running low on charge. The scooter was also slow, with a top speed of only 11 mph. Additionally, the app was buggy and it was difficult to scan the QR code to use the scooter. Overall, I wouldn’t use this service again even if it were free, especially considering that it cost me $58 and was slow. ### 1/5 — HAVE TO PARK IN SPECIFIC PLACES *2023-03-30, version 22.8* Me and a friend rented these scooters but we were charged an additional $40 for a parking fee when we were done using them. The app didn’t inform us of proper parking procedure and didn’t warn us that we were parking in a restricted zone. I have used many scooter services in the Orlando area + have never had a problem. When you get the scooter you have the option to “lock” the scooter which prevents you from riding it. We assumed we would not be charged for the time it was locked because we cannot ride the scooter at all. We were charged just under 40$ for a total of 15 minutes of riding the scooter. Just know you WILL be charged when you have it locked. The company also started ignoring my emails + questions when asked about it. They don’t tell you that you will be charged then ignore you when you ask questions. I would not use this company again. This is my first review + I had to leave it because I’ve never used a company that disappointed me so much. ### 1/5 — Didn’t run- lights on no power- no refund *2022-11-23, version 22.8* Was charged 6.60 even though the scooter wouldn’t go. We knew the parking place, have parked there before. Mind you, a 7 dollar Uber cost us $19 to ride the scooters, but he wanted to do it. Issue is, we parked in a designated spot. We were both in identical spots.. but he was charged $10. Have tried to reach out to support numerous times and nothing. We took a photo and everything Where he parked. If you have any issues don’t expect any supper. Scoot at your own risk!! ### 1/5 — A scam against tourist? *2021-06-20, version 21.4* Came to florida for a vacation and used these scooters. Didn’t not inform me of “proper parking zones” then charges me over $10 just for not parking in the “zone”. Rode it again down the street and back for a total of 2 minutes and 24 seconds and parked it exactly where I got it from. Then charged me $25. Seems a bit over priced to me…. I would not recommend ever using these. I have used like scooters and many other companies and they are fair and work great. These are horrible quality and just all around a scam.
