No notifications when this happens! They keep on top of fraud alerts when needed and the staff is friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that they don’t post deposits as quickly as other banks. ### 3/5 — ATM/Branch Locator Broke *2023-11-13, version 19.4.3* Overall the app is decent, but when I try to use the ATM location tool in the app it says access denied and I don’t have the appropriate credentials. I called Sunflower in September 2023 and talked with the online folks and they also see the same issue, but the issue is still there. It double alerts you of the same transaction. ### 1/5 — Frustrated Customer *2026-07-02, version 25.2.0* I run a small nonprofit and I’m able to use my username password to get on the desktop app but whenever I want to make a mobile deposit using the mobile app, it won’t log me in. I call customer service. I give them my social my account number, but the address I have on file is different from the one that’s in my profile and so because I didn’t remember the original address I opened the account up with like over 10 years ago and this bank has changed hands like three times now the customer service person wouldn’t help me. It’s the most frustrating experience ever. I’m going to another bank after this so tired of dealing with it. ### 1/5 — They Took My Money *2025-09-11, version 24.1.16* I opened and account on August 30, 2025. I then transferred $193,000 from my Edward Jones account to Sunflower Bank on September 5th, 2025. Then, on September 9th my account is restricted. I have called multiple times, visited a branch and non of them can help me. I have even emailed the current CEO Neal Arnold to no avail. Do not bank with Sunflower Bank here in Colorado. The following people I had interactions with were CJ Grayson, Keisha Hunt, Ashley Kowalski, Panween Arbeen, Emily Frank and Jordan Kuban. ### 1/5 — Online banking is horrible *2025-06-24, version 24.1.7* I have tried to be patient with the online banking system but a few years of not being able to rely on getting into my account via the app or website is wearing on me. It will quite regularly send me a “you can log back in” notification when putting in my login information. I haven’t been able to get my facial recognition to work for quite awhile now. I am now looking at reviews for banks with good on line services to switch accounts. Frustrating. ### 1/5 — Can’t transfer funds *2024-12-19, version 24.1.7* They recently updated the app I guess. I used to be able to transfer funds between my accounts in multiple ways. It’s so slow, doesn’t let me use venmo, and sometimes the app doesn’t let me into my account and leaves me with no way to check my balance. Horrible app that needs to get fixed. ### 1/5 — Stinks *2023-07-22, version 19.4.3* The online banking stinks. It is hard to use. Have to reset the password all the time. It is user unfriendly. The bank here in Crockett is horrible. Not only did y’all close the downtown location, you fired or let go most of the employees so you can never talk to a local person. After 2 rings you get someone in Tim-buck-2 that is no help at all. Maybe employees jumped ship because of y’all’s management, I don’t know but Christy can only do so much.
