Combined with your location, it then runs NOAA's solar position algorithm for every day of the year and counts the minutes of direct sun your window receives — broken down by season. It's the sun report you wish your real-estate listing came with. The best and worst month are highlighted and the annual swing is calculated. Golden hour bands - if "Highlight golden hour" is on in Settings, the sun arc chart now shades the 60 minutes after sunrise and before sunset in amber, showing the soft warm light that's ideal for portrait photography and for hardening-off sun-sensitive plants. Expanded plant database - 51 plants total (up from 43). Eight new species: Pilea (Pilea peperomioides), Calathea Medallion, Alocasia Polly, String of Hearts, Bird's Nest Fern, Neon Pothos, Fishbone Prayer Plant (Ctenanthe), and Iron Cross Oxalis - all with scientifically-grounded light-tolerance ranges. Richer share report - the text export now includes the full month-by-month table with peak and lowest months marked, plus the annual light swing, so the report you forward to a landlord or plant friend is fully self-contained. ### 1.2 — 2026-06-16 Plant Finder — tap any plant from the 45-plant database to see which of your windows are a match, ranked by daily sun hours.
