Still just spools and shows NO data. Also…Every time I try to use the app I have to reset my password. Even with the most recent update, it’s still a junk app. What is wrong with this company?! Original review- This app is useless. Can’t see anything regarding my account which says can only be seen on this app. NOPE! It wont let me edit any profile information or contact information to update it. What a joke. Why make your customers use this when it’s just a junk app????. I’m keeping the other app that monitors my panels. It’s much more accurate and lets me see what’s what. Do better, and fix this! ### 1/5 — Bankrupt *2026-03-01, version 1.44.3* Everybody that had SUNNOVA PV Installed got screwed since they went into Bankruptcy. SunStrong has ‘0’ customer service. Long story short, I leased my 9 panels on my new house, 2 years later I had SUNNOVA install a Tesla Power wall 3 battery. Best thing I did, since Sunnova’s app is junk, gives wrong information on my system, and why would it, SUNNOVA has no reason to help anyone since they washed their hands in bankruptcy. Even if they were court ordered to provide the app even after bankruptcy, they have not upgraded it and it is absolutely worthless. I have my Tesla app that handles everything about my production and battery storage. I haven’t heard one good outcome about this Sunnova/ SunStrong debacle. Yah, can’t wait to have some problem come up with my system and then begin the war of trying to get someone to help.. ### 1/5 — AWFUL app *2026-02-20, version 1.44.3* Super super basic and since it got bought out even less information is available, and almost every bit of data comes up with an error saying that it can’t be shown at this time. Don’t recommend. ### 1/5 — Horrible!!! *2026-01-19, version 1.44.1* The Sunnova app used to be great. Then it was bought by SunStrong Management and doesn’t work. SunStrong management tells you to use the Sunnova app to monitor panel however you can’t get in to it. Every time I try logging in it says log in error. I’m afraid I won’t know when the panels stop working and just wasted so much money on panels that will not work properly. I just had the highest electricity bill I’ve ever had since having panels and now have no way of knowing if the panels are working properly or not. ### 1/5 — Absolute trash *2026-01-08, version 1.44.1* Can’t get into the app to see my production, website allows me to login but gives 0.0 amount of info on anything except for what im paying each month. ### 1/5 — Garbage *2026-01-06, version 1.44.1* This app doesn't work any longer since bought by sunstrong or whatever it's cc called now. Continuous crashes and login issues and if you get in your system won't connect!!! ### 1/5 — SunStrong says to “up date this” *2026-01-02, version 1.44.1* But when you do and change your password as instructed, what you get is a landing page that informs you the Sunnova access has been discontinued and you should get and use the SunStrong app. So I did. To find your account they ask you to input your address. So I did, but they don’t let you. A drop-down list of addresses appears. You can ONLY choose from the offered addresses. It’s quite frustrating to see that due to chapter 11 Sunnova is now SunStrong. My payments are taken every month but I can’t see what is being produced by the solar panels at all! ### 1/5 — Worst app service *2026-08-05, version 1.44.8* It’s been a year since I was last able to log in and view our power production. I’ve been working with the app support team throughout this time, but instead of resolving the issue, they keep sending long emails that only delay the process and waste my time. They still haven’t created and shared a password with me. It’s really frustrating to spend hours on this when the issue remains unresolved after all this time. I’ve been locked out of my account with no prior notice, no instructions, and no communication about SunStrong Management taking over. How do you transition customers without informing them or ensuring they can even log in? This creates serious concerns around billing, account access, and overall reliability. Customers should not have to chase down basic information just to manage their own account.
