SunnyReef is a marine aquarium journal for iPhone, iPad and Mac. Log water tests, watch trends on charts, import ICP lab reports, plan your dosing and ask an AI assistant about your reef — all in one place, synced through iCloud. TESTS & PARAMETERS • 12 parameters: KH, calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), nitrate (NO₃), phosphate (PO₄), pH, salinity, temperature, plus trace elements: potassium (K), strontium (Sr), iodine and iron (Fe) • A clear status for every parameter against its target range — with custom ranges for your own tank • Historical charts and statistics: parameter trends over time ICP REPORTS • Import lab results from: Aquaforest Lab, ATI ICP, Triton, Fauna Marin, Oceamo • Values are read from the report automatically by an AI agent and compared with your previous tests (requires an AI key — see below) BRING YOUR HISTORY • CSV import from Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets — carry your existing measurement history with you DOSING • A new Dosing tab: set each supplement schedule once — a periodic table of elements shows every item at a glance • Bottle supply warnings 7 and 3 days ahead • Estimated level on the Dashboard, History chart and Dosing table — measured values and their statuses never change • A dose advisor computes real consumption from your tests and ICP and suggests a safe dose — always a suggestion, never auto-dosing • Label converter (ml/drops, L/gal, mg/µg per litre, dKH) and a salt batch profile LIVESTOCK & FEEDING • Track your fish, corals and invertebrates — species, purchase batches with prices and dates • Loss history with cause and note — undo an accidental loss and the animal returns to your living stock • Group feeding: one food, frequency and notes for a whole category; any species can have its own plan • The AI assistant knows your livestock — ask about stocking compatibility or have it set the feeding plan GALLERY, CALENDAR, REMINDERS • Reef photos with water parameters from the nearest test saved in the background • Calendar with daily notes • Reminders with notifications — water changes, tests, top-offs MULTIPLE AQUARIUMS • Separate tank profiles, including saved lighting settings SYNC & BACKUPS • iCloud sync between iPhone, iPad and Mac • Automatic backup to a folder of your choice (e.g. iCloud Drive), plus manual export and restore of a .sunnyreef file AI ASSISTANT — WITH YOUR OWN KEY SunnyReef connects to AI models using your own API key: • Claude (Anthropic) — paid key, highest quality analysis, understands photos • Gemini (Google) — free key, fully functional agent with photo analysis The assistant knows your results, answers questions about your parameters, analyzes coral photos and saves notes on your request. AI answers are informational and do not replace the knowledge and judgment of an experienced reef keeper. We've made improvements and minor fixes so the app works even better. ### 1.1.8 — 2026-09-08 Thank you for using SunnyReef! We've made improvements and minor fixes so the app works even better. ### 1.1.7 — 2026-09-02 Thank you for using SunnyReef! Improvements: • Salt batch: when you switch salts, the app asks first and starts a fresh, empty batch — your water change history and calculations stay. • Faster app launch after a longer break. • More accurate dose advisor when several supplements top up the same parameter. • Water change results are now rated against your targets — consistent with the Dashboard. • Small fixes: CSV import (US date formats), the clock in English, picking a date from the calendar, cleanup after deleting an ICP report, completing entries in Livestock. ### 1.1.6 — 2026-08-28 • AI assistant: complex questions now get an answer instead of a "network error", and the free agent gives longer replies. • Saves proposed by the AI are confirmed in a sheet in your language. • The assistant knows the Dosing tab (bottle supply, journal) and your own parameter targets. • "New batch" for salt starts with a clean form — no values carried over from the previous batch. • Dosing consumption is calculated from the last 6 months — the rate stays current. ### 1.1.5 — 2026-08-21 • Dosing speaks plainly — cards explain what the numbers mean and what to do next, and the form tells you what's missing before you can save. • The number on a Dosing tile turns amber when the level is below your target — you can see at a glance it's time to top up. • Clearer Dosing legend: frame color shows bottle supply, number color shows the level vs. your target. • Small fixes: label fields fit trace values (e.g. 0.00025), the Dashboard clock always shows leading zeros, clearer messages throughout the app. ## Apps similar to SunnyReef | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [Focustronic All in One](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/focustronic-all-in-one/id1549621462) | 2.7 (13) | Free | Lifestyle | | [Reef Pilot](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/reef-pilot/id6752355792) | — | Free | Lifestyle | | [SYNA-G](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/syna-g/id1080917075) | 1.5 (13) | Free | Lifestyle | | [Reef Trak - Reef Manager](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/reef-trak-reef-manager/id6741099733) | 4.9 (39) | Free | Lifestyle | | [MyAquarium](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/myaquarium/id6744203832) | 4.0 (4) | Free | Lifestyle | | [LYNK Pro](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/lynk-pro/id6456609506) | — | Free | Lifestyle | --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
