AR 3D error required sensor failed on iPhone 13 Pro. 
All permissions have been granted and AR 3D works on other apps. 
Camera engages and then immediately fails. 
Sad to pay for the app with high hopes of using it .

This issue is due to your iPhone‘s compass calibration being disabled (for all apps) and can easily be solved - you may just contact our friendly support (me) before writing a bad review. Please go to System Settings (Settings app) -> Privacy & Security -> Location Services -> (usually at the very bottom:) System Services -> Compass Calibration. Jetzt kann ich meinen Standort aktiviert lassen, ohne störenden Kreis oder Punkt. Ich nutze die App auf dem iPad im Split Screen zum Monitoring mein PV-Anlage. 
Der Entwickler setzt Anregungen um und antwortet auch schnell. Schöne Grüße aus Rosenheim nach Graz. Freue mich schon auf weitere Neuerungen. Weiter so Thomas 👍

Sun track is great for solar panels but the shading part of the app is seriously brilliant!
Shading for solar panels is the hardest thing to identify unless you spend a lot of money. This does it in minutes for a few pounds!
Indispensable if you are planning solar panels.

Bought his app while building a cottage, so I needed to plan for maximum Sunshine exposure around the building. This app made the planning simple. The framing crew arrive next week and I’m confident the roof pitch will be optimized for maximum sunshine on the patio.  I also plan to use this app to build a solar water heater. Any job that requires accurate planning for solar exposure will benefit from this excellent app.

In the short time I have been using the app it seems to be 5 stars. Plotting trees is easy detailing heights is easy. Being able to save locations is wonderful, and then edit them again is so good. I do have a wish list though.

Being able to send each saved location to my email inbox with an aerial map showing shadows, date and time with an attached list of trees their reference number and height and canopy diameter would be awesome. I hope the developer can do this.

I bought the Sunnytrack App for checking Sun exposure on a proposed new garden building. I also wanted an estimate of shadow positions. The shadow tool is simple to use and It’s been brilliant for both! It basically models any shape by joining points and specifying a height, so you can’t model sloping roofs etc but using common sense (e.g. a simple wall at roof ridge height) it clearly shows equivalent shadow position with any date and time. I will also be using it for photography (golden hour/ blue hour and sunrise/sunset positions). The map and satellite views are well designed and intuitive when you try them out for different purposes.  The Sun position using the AI tool was a bit off on my iPhone but after I calibrated the iPhone compass, it was spot on (so not the apps fault! ) The AI view is something I will use a lot I think! All in all a great app at a reasonable price. Very happy with it.

The shadows are static and don’t change with time of day . Don’t waste time paying for the app

**Developer response:** Hi! This review seems to be based on a misunderstanding. The static shadows visible in the background come from the satellite map imagery itself. Any objects placed on the map within SunOnTrack generate real, dynamic shadows that change precisely with time of day and throughout the year based on the entered height(s) and location. You can also add multiple objects for complex shadow simulations.
We reached out by email to clarify this and assist, but haven’t received a response yet. If you experienced different behavior, please contact us with details so we can help resolve it. If this clarifies the issue, we’d appreciate an updated review.

O aplicativo não tem opção pra teste, comprei imaginando que o app trazia a projeção de sombras dos prédios, mas não tem essa opção, apenas simulação bem ruim manual.

Très déçu que la carte qui serve de support soit obsolète. J'ai coupé des arbres en 2021 afin de mettre en place une installation solaire. Les arbres figurent encore sur cette vieille carte Google. L'application m'est donc inutile

Cependant, la fréquence et l'étendue de ces mises à jour dépendent entièrement d'Apple, et nous n'avons malheureusement pas le contrôle sur ce processus. Dans certaines régions, cela peut effectivement prendre plus de temps.

Nous comprenons votre frustration, mais nous pensons que la note attribuée ne reflète pas entièrement la qualité de l'application ni les fonctionnalités qu'elle propose. Nous vous encourageons à les essayer pour tirer le meilleur parti de SunOnTrack.

There are no instructions on how to use this app. The user interface is not at all intuitive. It’s impossible to tell what you are looking at in the app. I was interested in determining shadows on the roof from existing trees in order to plan a solar system. Obviously, I did not choose the right app.

Absolutely wasted my time, the shadow shown via simulation is not even close to the shadow shown on the image borrowed from google,  it accurate at all.

The sun position calculation is more than precise to 0.01 degrees (!) for any place in the world and therefore, also the shadows are calculated with high mm precision. (See other reviews). Obligé de l’acheter car pas de version d’essai. Ergonomie ok et système pour indiquer les ombres pas mal. Dommage que la position du soleil ne soit pas bien visible, qu’on ne puisse enlever la boussole et que la qualité de la carte en mode normal pixelise. J’ai demandé un remboursement, d’autres font mieux.

Tous les utilisateurs ne peuvent pas être satisfaits à 100 % de toutes les préférences en matière de conception. Dommage que vous n'ayez pas envoyé de commentaires détaillés - vous pouvez toujours le faire par courrier électronique. L'application est améliorée en permanence, notamment sur la base des commentaires reçus. Si la carte est pixelisée, cela peut être dû à votre connexion Internet - l'application utilise Apple Maps. De plus, il y a de grandes options de personnalisation, n'hésitez pas à y jeter un coup d'œil. Tous mes vœux et mes salutations ensoleillées ! ☀️

Die Höhe der Schattenobjekte kann recht gut eingestellt werden. Die Platzierung der Elemente müsste für meine Zwecke aber präziser, zum Beispiel über Abstände von markierten Punkten. 
Insgesamt aber gute App.

AR 3D error required sensor failed on iPhone 13 Pro. All permissions have been granted and AR 3D works on other apps. Camera engages and then immediately fails. 
Found that share location on your camera must be enabled, I never enable camera locations. 
You can always disable it again after using the app.

Vor dieser App wäre ich mit Winkelmesser und Meterstab auf mein Dach geklettert, und hätte die Verschattung mit Sonnenstand, Jahreszeit und Mathematik berechnet…so spare ich mir viel Zeit und Mühe. Einziger Nachteil: die Zeitleiste überdeckt teilweise den Winkelkreis. Alles in allem tolles Tool!

Wir konnten mit der App den Schattenwurf eines neu entstehendes Gebäudes auf unser Haus simulieren.
Das hat sehr gut funktioniert und war mit der App einfach anzulegen.
Auch hatten wir bei einer Anfrage an den Support innerhalb ein paar Stunden eine Antwort erhalten mit sogar noch zusätzlichen Hinweisen/Hilfestellungen.

Wirklich gute App ist den Preis wert ! 

Was mir fehlt sind die Wind Daten! Würde das mit Einflüssen wüsste ich von vielen das großes Interesse bestünde.

Permet de créer une zone comme sa maison et de vérifier les points d’ombrage fonction du soleil a toute heure de l’année hiver comme été et de se rendre compte visuellement des zones d’ombres tout au long d’une journée grace au calendrier et aux horaires et de pouvoir enregistré chaque simulation.
Il manque juste la possibilité de créer un compte et de pouvoir avoir un site internet pour partager sa simulation avec quelqu’un d’autres ce qui serait un vrai plus.
Effectivement pour positionner des panneaux solaires cela serait vraiment idéal de partager avec d’autres.
On pourrait même imaginer de récupérer précisément la production réelle grace a cette fonction zone d’ombre et ne pas se fier a des simulations certes précises mais qui ne tiennent pas compte de l’environnement donc inexacte. 
Vu la qualité de cet application je pense que vous allez nous faire cela très bien.

Ich habe die App gekauft, weil ich den Sonnenverlauf für unsere PV-Anlage ermitteln möchte. Die App überzeugt sofort. Der Sonnenverlauf wird Real-Time, aber auch im Tages- und Jahresverlauf absolut präzise angezeigt. Den Kaufpreis ist die App auf jeden Fall wert!!!
