## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work at all

*2024-12-14*

App does not work at all, I can see the the sun but it shows nothing on the camera view waste of money for me

### 1/5 — Do NOT get!!!

*2019-08-20*

This app was download in order to plan out my photography sessions. It never works. The sunrise time is always listed at 00:00 and the sunset time is always 24:00... I’ve calibrated it to the date/year and STILL it doesn’t work. Sun Seeker is definitely a more accurate app if your looking for one for photography purposes!

**Developer response:** Sorry that you are experiencing this bug in the app. Version 3.0 or higher should not have these issues anymore!

### 1/5 — Don’t waste your money

*2019-07-06*

Doesn’t work, path changes significantly every time you look at it, not accurate, no support, no refunds

**Developer response:** Sorry that you are experiencing this bug in the app. Version 3.0 or higher should not have these issues anymore!

### 1/5 — App crash

*2018-03-06*

I’ve downloaded the paid version off the app but the app crashes as soon as I open it. It’s a pointless purchase and I request you to fix the issue or give me a Rufund of the money.
Awaiting a response, regards.

### 1/5 — Will not open

*2018-01-23*

This crashes the second it opens.... tried contacting for a refund and it says office is closed till further notice???

### 1/5 — Southern Hemisphere

*2017-12-02*

Tried the this in Australia and doesn’t display time correctly

### 1/5 — Doesn't work

*2017-08-10*

As soon as you turn location services on and allow the app to view your location, it crashes. I've asked apple for a refund

### 1/5 — Not sure if it's bugged or scam

*2017-04-23*

I run the program and it shows the sunrise is at 13:10 and sunset at 14:10. It also shows Jan 1 date at the bottom and nothing happens. Press the top right button and it says sensors calibrated but still nothing. At this point it seems like a scam app.

**Developer response:** Hi Leedz,

There was indeed a bug for people in Australia. This bug was fixed in the new SunPath version. Also there are some new additional feature like taking a recording or see the sun path at any location. Sorry for the late response and we hope you will reconsider your app review.

### 4/5 — Great, but

*2021-09-29*

A simple option for using non military time would be greatly appreciated. Every time I use this app my enjoyment of its effectiveness and simplicity is completely frustrated by having to f@:$;ing transpose the hours. It takes me out of the moment and interrupts my creative flow when location scouting. would give 5 stars if this gets fixed.

**Developer response:** Thank you for you feedback!

Currently, I am working on a new design and I will keep this feedback into account.

### 4/5 — Great app for visualizing sun's path

*2017-11-28*

I was putting in a sun shade for our patio and wanted to make sure that I positioned it correctly to shade the area. App was great because I set the location and then held it up in the sky at various locations to simulate where the sun would be.

Only found a minor bug where the times shown during the day were reversed. That is, when I would point near sunrise it would show the time at sunset and visa versa. Problem would resolve if reselected my location in the settings menu.

## Most praised reviews (2 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Works for me

*2022-01-12*

Downloaded on iPhone. Pointed at sun in Sky while in Oman, and got best seat by pool for the day.

### 4/5 — Promising App

*2017-08-11*

The app looks pretty powerful now that it can record video. A couple of things I'd like to see are:

1. The ability to go back in time beyond the current year, if this is currently possible, the year needs to be shown and there needs to be a way to quickly set the date you want. I'm interested in seeing where the sun was 1500-4000 years ago, and I need to the ability to quickly get there.

2. Would be nice to also have that information on the video.

3. A help section.

Would to see those in the future, even willing to purchase an upgrade for them if necessary.
