### 4/5 — Good app

*2023-01-08, version 4.0.10*

Works well and includes a widget function.

### 3/5 — Location wrong on watch

*2020-11-20, version 3.3.0*

Having same issue as previous posters-wrong location on watch. Ability to check info on watch is the only reason for using app. Location is correct on phone-wrong on watch. Other than watch problem, great app. Please fix problem. Thanks

### 4/5 — Watch App Shows Wrong Location

*2020-11-14, version 3.3.0*

I really like this app. The iOS app works fine but the Watch app seems to be stuck on an incorrect location and does to change even when I change locations in the Phone app.

### 3/5 — Interesting.

*2018-01-05, version 3.2.3*

Looks interesting and accurate. Why is the font so large? Difficult to read.

### 4/5 — Really useful

*2017-12-22, version 3.2.3*

I do lot of hill/mountain walking & this app tells me when it first gets light and (more importantly) when to worry about it getting dark. Great tool for planning treks

### 3/5 — Inconsistent

*2017-03-21, version 2.2.3*

I like this app a lot and want to use it. I like the displays of the sun/moon directions at rise/fall. But the times are wrong. A week ago they were correct but now not. I don't get it.

### 5/5 — IMHO

*2016-07-04, version 2.2.3*

I love this app. It has all the information I seek.
Current, concise and complete. Well done.

### 3/5 — Time

*2016-03-21, version 2.2.3*

Like the app except that it doesn't seem to handle daylight saving time correctly, with regard to the rise and fall times, which are a hour off when daylight saving is in affect.

### 4/5 — Works pretty good

*2016-03-19, version 2.2.3*

It shows the trajectory of the sun and moon however do not indicates from which side it will rise.

### 3/5 — Almost perfect.

*2015-10-26, version 2.2.2*

I love everything the developer has done with app. On my first use I have only found one problem that prevented a 5-Star rating; the calculation of the correct time zone shift for displayed times is not correct (all calculations seem to be correct, just the local time for the event/time zone is off one hour). I think this has to do with the standard/daylight savings time seasonal shifts. (In Dallas, Texas, USA; we are currently -6GMT and the app thinks it should be -5GMT)

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Widget incorrect times despite location on

*2026-04-23, version 4.0.13*

The times are incorrect and I have location on so it’s useless deleting

### 1/5 — Ads make unusable

*2021-07-11, version 3.3.1*

It's a free app. I understand it will have ads. But the ads keep turning off my music. In acceptable and please get bent.

### 1/5 — Watch app broken

*2020-12-28, version 3.3.0*

The watch app now displays incorrect sunrise and sunset times.... currently it is showing sunrise as 21:46?

### 1/5 — Description says

*2019-10-28, version 3.2.4*

The description says this app supports Apple Watch complications, this simply is not true.

### 1/5 — Good Info, but Illegible

*2018-05-30, version 3.2.3*

The type on the screen is so large that it cannot be displayed on my IPad. Much of the information, particularly times and azimuth are reduced to one number and dits. I.E., Moon Rise 0... There is no setting to adjust font size. I have tried deleting and redownloading - doesn’t help.

Suggestions, anyone?

### 1/5 — I got it for the Apple Watch app but it doesn't work.

*2016-12-19, version 2.2.3*

I have other ways of finding sunrise/sunset, moonrise/moonset but I tried this app so that I could get that information on my watch. Well at least on my Apple sport watch with OS 3.1 it doesn't work.

Deleting. The search continues...

### 2/5 — Doesn't Work with Watch

*2021-01-26, version 3.3.0*

As with other reviewers, the app doesn't give the correct location on the Watch. This morning it had me in the Far East; after deleting and reinstalling, it shows 0 degrees latitude and longitude.

### 2/5 — Watch complications don’t work

*2020-11-16, version 3.3.0*

The watch complication seems to think I’m in a different time zone. Maybe Australia. I’m in Los Angeles!

### 2/5 — Sunrise Sunset

*2015-09-08, version 2.2.1*

No in app purchase to remove ads. I hate ads!

### 2/5 — 1-hour off...

*2015-07-16*

It's a great concept. But the sunset and sunrise times are an hour off... Clicked on "Questions / Comments" link, but it took me to a Japanese pages. Not very useful this way.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Simple, works well

*2022-11-25, version 4.0.10*

I live in an location with great views of sun and moonrises. This app is simple and work s really well for sun the moon rise times and directions, the ads are not intrusive either. Happy customer.

### 5/5 — Update fixed incorrect times

*2022-11-03, version 4.0.5*

What the title says. For some reason I can’t update my review.

### 5/5 — Daily tracker

*2022-04-02, version 3.3.2*

I use this app daily to determine where I need to be to catch the perfect sunset. Never fails.

### 5/5 — GMT +1

*2021-03-28, version 3.3.0*

Seems to think the clocks have gone forward by 2 hours. Yesterday sunrise was 5.50 am today it is 7.50!!!! Happened last year too. I’m going to have to look for another app
UPDATE I forgive this glitch as it only happens when the clocks change and I can cope with it! Apart from that I love it!!!

### 5/5 — Excellent!!

*2021-02-13, version 3.3.0*

I love this app. Simpleand easy. I love sunlight. Before rentinga house for my vacations or weekends always check the location with the app.

### 5/5 — Works well and has all the required features

*2020-08-23, version 3.2.4*

This is exactly what I have been looking for. I wanted an app that has both sunrise and sunset times for my iPhone and Apple Watch (very hard to find ones with Watch compatibility). This works great on my iPhone XR and my Apple Watch series 5. I also like that it includes moon information since the previous app I was using for that was bare bones and extremely limited.

5 starts for working well and having accurate information on both my devices.

It would be nice to be able to change from 24-hr to 12-hr clock in the options section but that’s not really a con, just something nice that other users might like.

### 5/5 — Brilliant App

*2019-06-01, version 3.2.3*

Useful for photography too. For example checking the lighting at sunrise and sunset on Objects and buildings . I like how the phone’s compass is utilised in this app.

### 5/5 — Very good

*2017-12-24, version 3.2.3*

Gives a useful indication of sun & moon rise and set directions, and GPS co-ordinates.
A minor improvement would be to make the two triangles, which show current sun & moon direction, a different shape to make it clearer which way they are pointing.
Another small detail is that the Left -Right slider for changing the display time works in the opposite direction to what feels natural to me: at present moving it Left is later and Right is earlier.
Overall, a very good App.

### 5/5 — Apologize

*2017-12-09, version 3.2.1*

I gave an incorrect review. This app is great

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2017-11-14, version 3.1.0*

Want to set up for a beautiful sunset photo. This is the app. Will show you exactly where the sun will be setting!

Sure is hard to find in the App Store. Showed to a friend he loved it. He spent over an hour searching for it in the App Store. Please add link to app for sharing with friends and on Facebook!
