Go back in and get kicked out again. Not happy, I just want my recipes. ### 1/5 — Not working *2014-10-02, version 2.3.10* Doesn't work after update, please fix it! ### 1/5 — Still can't use SFI even after most recent update. *2014-10-01, version 2.3.10* I updated to IOS 8.0 and non of my magazines would work. I was so excited to see the update come thru for SFI only to be disappointed when after doing the update, it STILL doesn't work! Please fix! It's not very user friendly. Developers should listen to feedback! *2013-06-09, version 2.2* After subscribing for a year last year when the magazine was interactive and fantastic, I was disappointed when it became just a PDF version of the print mag. Now I've been charged another full year without realising, and I'm stuck with a purchase I would not have bought again. Furthermore, it is disappointing to see that the developers have paid no attention to the feedback provided here by consumers. Every review I've seen has been disappointed in the change from interactive to PDF. So, Super Food Ideas developers: why don't you offer two versions - one for those who want a quicker download and just get the PDF, and one for the rest of us who don't care if we have to wait a bit longer for the download so we can have back the fantastic interactive magazine this used to be? ### 1/5 — Ruined *2013-05-08, version 2.2* This used to be an amazing app. Then they updated it and ruined it. What's the point of a cooking magazine on an ipad that won't rotate to landscape. I now have to use a magazine holder to make this app at all useful while cooking. Made a lot more sense when I could use my stand. Also frustrating that I paid for a years subscription back when all of the old features were still in use. Now I'm left with a subscription to something that's practically useless. ### 1/5 — Why change a good thing *2013-02-13, version 2.2* I used to love this app. It differed to the magazine in so many ways. The way you could click on a recipe to go straight to it and scroll up and down and across and check the nutritional value at the click of a button. Now it's no different to the paper magazine, and I especially hate that u couldn't even take out the crossword that can't be done. What happened to the creativity. I won't buy this app anymore. A waste of space on my iPad. VERY VERY DISSAPPOINTED :((((((( ### 1/5 — Frustrated *2013-01-18, version 2.1* I was given this app as a Mothers Day gift and for a while I loved it and showed everyone. I chose my weekly recipes and really enjoyed using cook mode. Then in December everything changed! It has gone from fantastic to very ordinary. No longer can you rotate the screen or click on the index and get straight to the recipe. I have had to download all past issues again and had a lot of trouble doing so. Unfortunately I would no longer recommend it to anyone and unless it changes in the next couple of months will not renew my subscription. Then they did an upgrade that turned it into a non-interactive PDF file. Very disappointing. If they can't be bothered to fix this I won't be buying it at the supermarket either! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Non-existent support for problems with the app *2018-12-29* I was very happy with the app until I bought some back-issues, and discovered that half the pages were missing. Contacted support per the instructions in the app to have matter resolved, and haven’t heard back from them WEEKS (even months?) after lodging support issue. I am stuck with issues that I cannot read, while they have kept my money for a product that they have failed to supply, and ignoring my request for help. Better off buying the actual mag if you want it. ### 1/5 — Used to be good *2018-08-31* Continually crashes. Needs an update urgently. ### 1/5 — July issue and budget meal section *2018-06-08* The July 2018 issue will not load despite remove and reinstalling the app and refreshing the subscription - this has been the case for a week and no fix in sight. The budget meal planner at the end of the magazine will only load upside down - obviously hasn’t been adjusted for the digital version. Always crashes and goes back to start. It doesn't even stay open long enough to read an ingredient list. Have just tried to read december issue on my ipad and it has chucked me out 5 times. Instead of returning me to where I was last reading, I have to scroll through all the pages again! Being more of a PDF format takes up less space and this is a bonus for me. I also love that now you can zoom in and it is still very clear, which I love. Since purchasing my iPad I have set it up on my kitchen bench and use it as my recipe book as much as I can. I've dowloaded the May issue and can now cook so easily from SFI using the wonderful recipe mode feature and even watching vidoes. Thankyou for taking this technology loving foodie to heaven! The fact that I have to download all previous issues since I started buying them last year is super frustrating. I hate the new format...might as well read a pdf. No landscape, not interactive...just not fun. Won't buy again.:( ### 4/5 — Great *2012-08-17* I really like this magazine so I bought a 12month subscription it did take a long time to down load but everything is ok and I still have last months issue in the library but it does not show in the newsstand but it is still there just downloaded Aug issue still takes awhile to download but still no problem all my other issues are still in newsstand I just don't have a problem with the magazine also I like that I don' t have magazines lying around the house all copies are on my iPad so easy ### 4/5 — Love this app *2012-07-05* I absolutely love that they have got the app for this mag. I used to have a box full of the magazines now I can carry it all in one place. Easy to use and access. Although the price change and now in news stand is a bit of a joke. It was so much easier to access before. Having the in app download only slightly cheaper than the magazine is a rip off as the reason I love this app so much is I hate the waste of paper when magazines are distributed.
