But I do have a few problems. So today I was trying to earn the “complete a day in 20 minutes” trophy, and I did, it took me 14 minutes, and I didn’t get the trophy. Also, there need to be a level creator, all the great games have them. And lastly, there should be shirts and pants and stuff to decorate your guy, like yolk or goop or whoever you use. Please get back to me ASAP. My only complaint is how often i run into small or big bugs and occasional softlocks the levels didn’t catch in the daily level stuff! Currently I can’t even get past the intro screen that shows the level theme and day after doing a minigame capsule for a bonus on my journey, which is annoying especially when i got a lucky star power up and I’m like 4-5 checkpoints away from done with todays level! Previous days here and there have softlocks like in the near end of the treasure mine themed levels, theres a chest you can unlock for bonus coins but you don’t just hit it from below like a mario brick properly and just go up into the semi platform its sat upon and get trapped in a softlock as you can’t die! The only good way to work around that is to restart the app and just ignore it while continuing onwards, which is lame as heck when it has 1-3 big gold coins for the easy(ish) challenge. Edit: May 8th, 2025 This game hasn’t had an update in 2 years, thats Half this games lifespan so far. How are they not doing anything to update stuff for simple QOL and egregious bugs from flagpole checkpoints forgetting your streak to how infrequent powerups you unlock actually appear (especially as it gets harder and harder to get them from the minigames as those become way too hard on expert). I play this frequently still but my god it tries my patience that this game is unloved by its devs. I understand making a new level Everyday sounds challenging but this stuff is practically generated randomly everyday, its just procedually designed the night before and uploaded when it rolls over on midnight! The amount of rooms/puzzles that don’t account for previous ones is ridicilous, from getting a free snownado powerup to cover up spikes, then the next puzzle is based around not having that powerup at all?! ### 4/5 — Needs a level maker *2025-04-29, version 1.8.1* This game is great, the “puzzles” are not challenging at all, which is a little sad. And for the love of Arcoos, the devs need to make a level maker, the average player can beat a level in around 20-40 minutes, which on a daily commute (when most people play this) it’s not that long of a time. So a level maker would be great. I imagine it could be something like SMM2, and you could (hopefully) play more than one fan level a day. And makers would have to beat their own course to upload it. Besides those two things, SLD is amazing. (Definitely not apple’s super Mario run) ### 2/5 — Extremely flawed, bugs galore *2024-11-27, version 1.8.1* This game has too many glitches to count. Scratch that, most of them aren’t glitches, just poor game design. Whether it be horizontal segments with enemies that you can’t react to or fruits placed in places you can’t reach, clearly something is wrong with the way these levels are generated. I was originally going to take these complaints to the grave, but my final straw was November 26th, 2024’s level, which was made completely impossible due to a minigame platform spawning over the exit to another segment of the level. I get that I can’t expect a game that gets new levels daily to be completely free of bugs, but at least try to keep scenarios like that from happening. ### 3/5 — Cool but... *2024-11-27, version 1.8.1* There has been an issue with a couple of the levels so far this year. March 30th, 2024 and November 26th, 2024 both have points in the level where you can't advance. It's completely blocked off. Hopefully the issue will be fixed. ### 2/5 — The music is great *2024-09-24, version 1.8.1* The music is really outstanding in this game. However the rest of everything else falls flat. I can get a back to back bugged level that is simply impossible for every character except for one as one room, and two jumps as the next. It also repeats rooms a sad amount considering how simple it is to design rooms. Just today I had to quit because I jumped too high on the final trophy room and fell down out of bounds back to stage 10 losing all my progress for some reason. The mini games are also ridiculously buggy and the coin grind is excessive.
