### 4/5 — More time or endless

*2026-07-21, version 1.2.2*

Please can you extend the time limit or endless like to old one had

### 3/5 — Not as memorable as the original!

*2026-05-09, version 1.2.2*

The original was much more fun than Super. It had mini graphics whenever you fed a monster a condo, when you got a power-up, and a time bar for the said power-ups. Super takes all of those away.

Another thing that changed is how the theme got stripped of its Japanese video game theming. The finger host changed from a sumo wrestler in makeup to a white game show host. I get that it’s from outcry of racist stereotypes because of the protests, but c’mon… that’s what made the game memorable!

Overall, the characters have the same charm, cries and all. I’m happy that it’s back on the App Store! Just please bring back the Japanese Godzilla theming and the overly psychedelic feel of the early 2010s Adult Swim days.

Super Monsters game < Original Monsters game

### 3/5 — Endless Mode!!!

*2025-07-21, version 1.2.2*

Please bring back Endless Mode — it’s what made this game truly unforgettable. I remember spending hours chasing high scores, pushing myself to go just a little further each time. It was addicting, challenging, and felt like the heart of the classic experience. Bringing it back would make this game perfect again — just like we remember.

### 2/5 — Bitte Endlos-Modus wieder einführen

*2025-06-14, version 1.2.2*

### 4/5 — Almost identical to the classic!!!

*2025-06-13, version 1.2.2*

Was very glad to see this game back in the store after close to a decade. Gameplay is about as fun as I remember. However, there are some bugs regarding the monsters, such as them stuck in one animation or not switching out when they’re supposed to. Also, I made the level 30 cap very easily and am just itching for new content to keep me coming back.

### 4/5 — New levels ?

*2025-03-22, version 1.2.2*

This is a fun game ! I was just wondering when there would be more levels ?

### 2/5 — Bring back endless mode

*2025-03-09, version 1.2.2*

I loved this game when it had endless mode, please bring back endless mode.

### 4/5 — Happy to see this game is back but…

*2025-02-26, version 1.2.2*

This game is great. Ready to play tough to master. It’s fast paced and over the top. I love the crazy sound effects and arcade retro style game. It’s fairly priced at $5 to unlock the full game. I live there are no in game purchases past that. I wish they made some more game modes but more importantly I wish they would bring back the endless mode.

### 4/5 — SMANC

*2025-02-15, version 1.2.2*

Almost as good as the original! Graphics updated which is nice! And they kept the “fat”lady! But not a fan of the game show nugget with a Wig on! Missing the “it’s not over till the fat lady sings” or “You got high score” guy!

### 3/5 — I want the original

*2025-02-01, version 1.2.2*

I’m giving 3 stars for ignoring all my simple requests make this the og again and make it free I want the og back.

### 2/5 — Needs colorblind accessibly

*2025-01-07, version 1.2.2*

No option for colorblind folk

### 2/5 — Worse than the original MAMC

*2025-01-02, version 1.2.2*

It’s like they took the original, which is a brilliant game, and added all the things that make mobile games horrible. I never like this version when it was first released and I don’t like it now. Daily goals, rewards, in-game shop, paid upgrades for addicts and super fans. It is unpleasant.

They won’t re-release the original of course. That version is just a game. It doesn’t include all the addictive dopamine elements that increase your playtime.

I’ve still given this two stars because the core gameplay mechanic is excellent, even if you can barely get to it. As far as I have found there is no marathon mode. The gameplay seems to be confined to dopamine tasks. Optimised for addiction I think.

### 2/5 — Love it but you hit the ceiling quickly

*2024-11-20, version 1.2.0*

Thank you, developers, for bringing back Super Monsters Ate My Condo! It’s such a fantastic game, and I’m thrilled to play it again. That said, I noticed that you hit the level cap pretty quickly (only 30 levels?). After reaching the max level, experience points keep accumulating, but they don’t seem to impact gameplay or power-ups. It would be much more rewarding if, instead of gaining unneeded experience, players earned in-game currency to purchase power-ups. This would add more value for players and keep the gameplay engaging beyond the level cap.

### 5/5 — Great game

*2024-10-26, version 1.2.0*

I remember when adult swim was pushing this game so glad it’s back , now we just need meowcenaries

### 1/5 — Eat my disappointment

*2026-04-28, version 1.2.2*

Loved the original and so did my kids. Music was great too. Was really glad to have found this was still available. Then I played it. Totally agree with the other review here. How to stinkify a great classic and turn it into a casino feeder (why does it have a 12+ rating anyway?) - Sadly wouldn’t want to let my kids anywhere near it - think I still have the original on an iPad somewhere.

### 1/5 — Rat screwed game

*2026-03-30, version 1.2.2*

Would invent time travel just to not have ever played this at all 🚕

### 1/5 — Not as good as the originals

*2025-12-02, version 1.2.2*

This just doesn’t feel as fun as the originals. It feels like they’ve tried to shoehorn in extras that just detract from the game. Pass.

### 1/5 — Unplayable

*2025-11-25, version 1.2.2*

Tutorial gets stuck in unbeatable loop

### 1/5 — Used to be great

*2024-11-08, version 1.2.0*

You can match colours but the monsters don’t swap anymore, it’s the worst.

### 5/5 — Exactly as I remember:

*2026-05-14, version 1.2.2*

I had gotten so good at the game years ago. Thought about it recently and was surprised it was back up. The game expands once you understand how to use the monster abilities and boosts.

### 5/5 — Best game made on IOS ever.

*2025-10-04, version 1.2.2*

I had to give a description to ChatGPT in order to find this game as the original was taken down YEARS ago. The amount of joy I felt knowing it made a come back! Seriously addictive and the art style is so satisfying and chaotic 10/10 would recommend to anyone. Glad its back

### 5/5 — Finalmente

*2024-12-02, version 1.2.0*

È tornato il miglior gioco di sempre, perché toglierlo per 10 anni o più non ha mai avuto senso, come la mia vita senza di esso. Grazie

### 5/5 — Fun, monetized fairly

*2024-11-13, version 1.2.0*

In an earlier review I said that I didn’t think daily challenges were working, but I just cleared one without trying, so they must clear automatically when you play the regular game and meet the goal (I wrongly thought daily challenges were separate games, they really seem to be an added goal when you play like normal).

Anyhow, this is a great game, and it’s monetized fairly. It’s perfect for when you want an arcade type game to play during a short work break. I highly recommend it. I really appreciate that there are no ads or crazy IAP, just one IAP to unlock the full premium game after you try it. Very well done. Thank you developers!

### 5/5 — Fun quick game, addicting!

*2024-11-10*

I had never played the original, but I found this and gave it a try. I really like it! Perfect for when you just have a couple minutes.

I appreciate that there are no ads, and that the only IAP is to unlock the full premium game, and it’s a fair price. I paid after a couple games to support the developer and their fair monetizing.

The data collection also seems within reason. The file size isn’t too big. It could use a tad battery optimization maybe, but it’s not bad considering all the things going on. Sometimes things pop up and disappear so fast you don’t have time to read them, but reading them doesn’t seem to be essential. You easily figure out things as you go, and there’s a nice balance between different choices you have to make.

I like that there’s a progression. I also like that you can just play it casually, or you can really go for it if you want to be competitive. I see some people want an endless mode, but that would only be good if you want a long game. As it is, it’s perfect for two-minute work breaks, but you find yourself trying one more time because it’s so good. You can play two minutes or two hours. Great game!
