### 5/5 — Best Calendar App

*2017-10-27, version 4.20*

I have been using this app for 4 years and I have never lost or messed up anything. Highly recommend over iPhone app. The good thing about SuperCal is that it can be sync’ed with Microsoft outlook.

### 5/5 — Never Fails

*2017-02-14, version 4.01*

Every day of my life I depend on this app to get me through my day and it never fails me. It has just enough bells and whistles to make the right things stand out without being cumbersome.

I can't speak to their customer service since I've never had to use it!

### 5/5 — Best calendar

*2016-11-04, version 4.01*

Love the super cal. Easy to use and keeps me up to date!

### 4/5 — Missing step for Google Calendar Sync

*2016-02-18, version 3.30*

Followed the help steps but was still not getting SuperCal2 to show my appointments.

Here is what you need to do:
1 - In SuperCal2's upper left corner choose the gear icon and choose the default Google Calendar you want and click done.
2 - In SuperCal2's lower left corner choose the calendar icon and under ALL CALENDARS choose the calendars you want to see in Super Cal.

### 5/5 — Great Calender

*2015-12-09, version 3.30*

Beautiful Calender, very clean & easy to use. Love all the Features.

### 5/5 — My favorite calendar!

*2015-10-02, version 3.20*

This app is so much better than the Apple calendar. It offers so many more options. Highly recommended, five stars

### 5/5 — The Clearest and Easiest to Use: Very Good Job!

*2014-08-05, version 1.10*

(and NO, I have no relation to the developers: Supercal was overlooked by the magazines for some reason, and I find it better than the other calendars that are more popular) I’ve used Supercal (and Supercal 2) for more than 6 months, I think, and I am very satisfied with it. I purchased Fantastical when that was the fad calendar in the iOS magazines, and also the calendar by Readdle, and the most recent upgrades of both. I tried a few others that did not have enough flexibility. They will all sync automatically with the iOS 7 calendar, so I switched back and forth throughout the day. I personally really like the clarity of Supercal 2’s interface and layout, and ease of use. Both my wife and I use reading glasses, and the graphics and text in Supercal 2 are very clear: both easy to read AND attractive to look at in use. Even if you already use one of the other calendars, this is worth the purchase just to try it. I use it every day, and find it serves me and my wife well (she is a teacher, and has classes and meetings at all times of day). It appears to have all the bells & whistles of the others, without having to wade through them each time I use it when I’m in a hurry. After reading the Fantastical reviews, I thought that would be the Be-All-and-End-All of calendars, but I like Supercal 2 better in day to day use.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — deleting immediately

*2016-03-20, version 3.30*

I want to create my own calendar for special event. I do NOT want to import all the data from my current calendar. This app won't engage until i allow it to hook up to my existing calendar. Wasted money again. Unfortunately there is no way to fig this out by reading reviews and details.

### 1/5 — NOT for iPad. Had to pay twice.

*2014-11-05, version 2.00*

I really liked the original Supercal (which I paid for). I've been using it for over a year and it's my go to calendar. But after iOS 8 some of the functionality disappeared/broke. I figured that an update would be forthcoming. Instead of updating the app the developer instead created Supercal2 (and charges a separate fee of course). Supercal2 appears to be iOS 8 friendly, but there is no iPad format/support. So now I paid again and have an even less functional/friendly calendar. It's off to the competition I guess.

### 3/5 — Looks Great - but some views aren’t displaying events

*2018-08-03, version 4.22*

This app looks great and immediately feels easy to use and intuitive. It has great features that are easy to find - repeating events, how much time before an event to issue an alarm, and moving between views is super easy. However, I can see an event in the daily view and the monthly view, but it’s completely missing in the weekly view. That’s a problem when I’m planning the week with colleagues and can’t rely an this app being consistent from one view to the next. Hope this gets solved soon - like in days - or I’ll have to look elsewhere for a calendar and out the two bucks.

### 3/5 — Update

*2016-08-09, version 3.30*

Needs to be updated for the iPhone SE

### 3/5 — Improve

*2015-04-26, version 3.10*

Should be able to have a setting where you can tell to hide/unhide past appointments. Otherwise good app.

### 3/5 — Needs to add "Super Snooze" function

*2015-04-18, version 3.00*

Does anyone else find it strange that CalAlarm2 has this feature, but not SuperCal?

### 3/5 — If I wanted iCal, I’d have saved my money

*2014-08-05, version 1.10*

The reason I wanted this app is because my husband has the first version of it. It’s SO much nicer than Apple’s iCal in iOS7. At least Supercal 1 had some styling. THIS version has gone the way of iOS7, removing what styling was there. The month view no longer has the lines indicating the days of the week - just like iCal. BOO!! Simple things, but at least they had SOME form of design. Removing all design does NOT, IMHO, leave one with a design. It’s just plain. And Plain awful.

It’s better than iCal, but only marginally. I wouldn’t spend the $2 on it had I paid attention to the new look in this version.

### 4/5 — Eh

*2019-03-29, version 4.32*

I like this app, I do. I chose it because it has different views and haven’t had a problem with missing events yet, however I think you need to have a way to link you calendars directly in the app. I use a more secure email with my google tools. I can sign into it everywhere else but couldn’t on my iPad. So to use this app, I had to sign up for gmail (which I did not want to do) to connect it. I don’t use apple’s native tools like that because I’m constantly changing devices. This was extremely inconvenient. I actually gave up and downloaded another app that did the same thing so I came back to the better option. I think this app has a lot of potential and that workaround could hinder you. Please add this feature. Also being able to name our calendar views and choose the theme/calendar colors with hex color codes or a color picker would be great too.

### 4/5 — Great

*2017-01-11, version 4.01*

I like it very much.

### 4/5 — Really nice, but...

*2016-10-30, version 4.00*

The calendar is really nice and I would seriously consider switching tobit exclusively, but one thing is holding me back. I wish when entering an event's location, it would "predict" the address like the way Fantastical 2 does. Perhaps a future update could fix this? Please!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Best calendar app

*2023-02-01, version 5.43*

After trying several calendar apps and finding all of them lacking in some way, I stumbled upon this one and I think it’s the best out there. It’s odd that it doesn’t appear higher in the list of calendar apps within the App Store. It has a clean look, consistent with the appearance of the built-in Apple calendar, yet adds several features that the Apple calendar lacks. My only desire is for a few more appearance customizations on the month view, such as ability to have colored bars across the events. But this is a relatively small thing.

### 5/5 — Best Calendar App for me

*2020-10-05, version 5.20*

This by far is the beat calendar app for me. Much better than the ios native app. Just waiting for a widget for the new update.

### 5/5 — My favorite calendar app

*2020-06-22, version 5.10*

I won’t get into how much I dislike apple’s calendar app but that’s where I started my search. I bought this app and I love it. The one thing this app does not do (and I’ve not found one yet that WILL do) is to create an event that’s repeated on randomly chosen dates. This can’t be that hard to do, can it?

I want to make an event that’s scheduled for tomorrow, two weeks fro yesterday, three days later, and a date two months from now. Can’t do it - unless you copy and paste the event.

Other than that, this is my favorite calendar app.

### 5/5 — Best calendar by far

*2019-11-03, version 5.04*

I've been using this calendar for several years with no problems. My questions have been answered within 24 hours. Best week calendar I have been able to find and I have tried about a dozen. Easy to enter appointments and make modifications. I recommend it highly.

### 5/5 — Great alternative!

*2019-10-21, version 5.00*

When I first started using my iPhone I didn’t care for the calendar and looked for an alternative. Luckily this calendar worked out perfectly! It’s easy to use and I love the look of it. I’ve been we encountered any issues using it.

### 5/5 — The Best

*2019-06-18, version 4.33*

by far the best calendar app available!

### 5/5 — Best calendar app

*2019-04-01, version 4.33*

I love this app. It’s far better than the apple calendar!!

### 5/5 — Review: Business use

*2018-12-30, version 4.32*

For me & my business; it gets the job done. Its effective, efficient & simple to use. In/out

### 5/5 — I think SuperCal is a very good app.it’s very accessible.

*2018-03-06, version 4.22*

accessible and easy to use.

### 5/5 — Possible Enhancement

*2017-11-01, version 4.20*

What are the Chances of adding travel time to some of the new events if you choose to. This would help me a lot and The iPhone default calendar has it and that’s a really good teacher.
