They have these fun little cards based on Chinese culture that you can draw after completing tasks. You used to get a new card each time, but they took that away. Now there’s a chance you will get a repeat card, and you have to “buy” the chance for a guaranteed new card. Why does everything have to be gambling? Why can’t you just be rewarded for sticking with the studying? At this point, I am less motivated to keep using this app.

I absolutely love this app—it makes learning so fun and addictive! 💖 But there’s no Turkish language option, which makes it hard for me sometimes. Please add Turkish support! It would make the app perfect and attract so many more users from Turkey. 🙏

This app pressures, you to move forward quickly, which can deter comprehension for people who would like to focus on mastering each subject. It’s more focused on, pushing through the subjects, and not necessarily comprehending them.

Also, when you mess up in pronunciation, it doesn’t tell you why or how and sometimes your voice can’t even sound exactly like the robot when it’s played back and it’ll still say it’s wrong. It’s really frustrating because then I end up focusing more on my pronunciation than trying to understand what I’m actually saying. 

Because the app has daily tasks, it encourages you to move forward quickly, so even if you select that you only wanna do 10 or 15 minutes a day you can end up doing like 30 to 15 minutes, just to try and cover their tasks. I don’t know if there was a glitch or something, but it wanted me to do a certain task today and no matter how many lessons I tried to complete it on (which I did in 3 out of 4 lessons despite them only asking for two) It would still tell me that I didn’t complete it correctly and it’s still in limbo. I have like 50 minutes on my timer for how long I’ve spent on this app today.

I have hello Chinese, Drops, and Chinese skill. I think I like Chinese the most because it’s similar to SuperChinese but it doesn’t pressure you. 

SuperChinese might be good for somebody who is able to ignore daily tasks or someone who has someone in person to help with pronunciation, which I luckily do you have that but I know not everyone does.

Everything is paid! How can you make an application that cannot be used without payment!? The trial mode is very short and there is no opportunity to study without payment! And I wanted to study in this application so much, because it's done very well! But because of the payment, you will have to study not in it, but in Duolingo! I wanted to use the application for practising speech as an addition to the textbook, but I'll have to use something else...

Very bad ui, I couldn’t figure out how to get past level 1–2. You cannot tell free tier content apart from premium and get constant warnings/prompts for paid versions. I decided to remove the app after five days for hello Chinese

Хороший приятный глазу интерфейс удобный в использовании. Уроки продуманы и цепляют, хочется учится еще и еще. Очень лаконично подкручена помощь AI, действительно чувствуешь что говоришь уверенее. Так же на плюс очень много говорения, хорошо тренирует произношение тонов
