I requested my login information and cut and paste from the recovery email. I still couldn’t log in. It almost feels like they are fishing for emails and personal information. 🤷‍♂️ ### 1/5 — Cant even register to use this app *2018-12-28, version 3.3.0* When signing up to use the app, it asks me to enter my email address. I enter it correctly but the app just keeps telling me to enter a valid email address. Nothing wrong with the email address I’ve been using for the last 10 years. So this app is useless ### 1/5 — Won’t let me sign up *2018-11-17, version 3.3.0* I have tried to sign up multiple times. It just keeps giving me an error that my email address is invalid. What a shame. I really like the website and the app would have really enhanced it. I hope you get it up and running soon. ### 1/5 — Weird *2018-08-23, version 3.3.0* I don’t think I need an account to look up for recipes you know. ### 1/5 — Horrendous *2018-07-24, version 3.3.0* Not even anything like the website, no option to input ingredients, the “My Supercook” thing is some sort of WiFi thing that then tells you you have no WiFi...the premise has such potential but the app has been so poorly executed. Hopefully one day it’ll be true to potential. ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2018-07-22* This app is not only super unintuitive, but will send you your PERMANENT PASSWORD in plaintext! Over email! This is horribly unsafe and they are not taking users information seriously. Do not get this app. (Side note, have the DEVS ever heard of unit conversion? Seriously I can only enter my height in centimeters?) **Developer response:** Matt, we do not store any sensitive customer information such as credit cards or anything else. Lots of clients forget their password and if they still can remember the email then it is a very big help for them. Simply follow a golden rule: "Never use the same password in all pages you visit and register..so you stay safe! Btw to help you in case you missed that part in math. 1" = 2.54cm!! ### 1/5 — Had to uninstall *2018-07-03* Seems like an amazing premise but I wasn’t even able to create an account. Would not load a country which is mandatory thus leaving me unable to get past the initial signup. Very disappointed. **Developer response:** This has been a bug and is fixed long time ago. Hope you like the App ### 1/5 — pointless *2018-06-20* This is one of the worst apps i’ve ever downloaded. It wouldn’t let me make an account on the app. When I tried to choose my country, my screen went black and the app closed. I made an account on safari and logged into it from the app, but it shuts down frequently due to specific things. I don’t get the verification email either. ### 1/5 — You can’t put in your Ingredients!! *2018-02-06* I’m optimistic... can count on my fingers how many times I have taken the time out to write a review. I searched on the web for a site that I could put the ingredients in to find a recipe for what I have. This was the first, okay gotta make this short, to pop up. It had only one review (read previous review), and basically they are right in trouble logging in, took a few times with me, the having to create different IDs, the app saying I was not putting in the right info, blah blah, got in, and TOTALLY NOT WHAT I ASKED FOR!!!!! Fraud don’t waste your time...No putting in your list and them going off of that, no, but what’s crazy is they’re website is awesome, maybe you guys will see and fix, respective criticisms ### 1/5 — Forced Registration *2017-12-25* I don't like the fact that you are forced to register before being able to preview or try out the app to know if you even like it or not. You can't compile a list of ingredients that you have and tell it to search; instead, you have to search by one ingredient only. It's bogus. Don't get it. **Developer response:** Our website is www.supercook.me ### 1/5 — Just don't bother *2017-08-03, version 2.1.0* I used to love using the website on my computer, it's great, but the app? Don't even try. I have tried registering with 2 different email addresses, checked the caps etc. And even left it 24 hours to no avail. Haven't been able to login to the app at all. Can use the web, but no chance with the app. I can't be bothered anymore. I recommend using Bbc good food, or search Jamie Oliver - both on the web. Deleting...now! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Do Not Get This App *2020-07-24* The actual supercook app is by AMR systems LLC, this app is fishing for personal information. They are impersonating the original one. Again don’t get it, a quick look at the developer responses shows they have no respect for their customers or their privacy. **Developer response:** The original Supercook was launched long before AMR started fishing with our Trademark and registered brand name. Before you spread wrong information, please get the facts right. ### 1/5 — 😭 *2020-07-16, version 3.3.0* Why? ### 1/5 — Problems creating recipes *2020-06-27, version 3.3.0* I decided to use the ap to create a recipe as I have been having problems with the website. Logged in but had problems adding contents to the recipe. Tried to publish the recipe but kept telling me I was not logged on so it went nowhere. I used to use the website with no problems but doesn’t work for me now. Needs fixing as I want to do recipes for the SC350 ### 1/5 — Does not work *2020-03-23* Tried to register but when you click on the registration field to try to type no key board pops up so there’s no way to use the app. **Developer response:** You are referring to another App that hijacked our trademark and brand name. ### 1/5 — Unusable app *2020-01-20* Can’t use on my phone nor my computer. Takes forever and a day to load ingredients on my computer, could go to the grocery store instead and that’s the reason for using this app. On my phone you can’t create an account unless you give your blood type and it asks for your WiFi password. It’s stupid. Use eMeals instead, people. *I was asked to update my review...a year later because I was informed this app has been “up and running since the early 2000’s”. Well, since smartphones and apps really didn’t exist in the early 2000’s and the app is STILL unusable in my phone or computer, my review still stands: the app is useless. **Developer response:** I think you are not refering to us Our web is up and running since early 2000s. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2020-01-18* Can’t even log in/register Total crap Waste of an app Not worth trying to see if there was a space. Clearly this app didn’t work for anyone. The following was feedback I received from the developed of this app (judging from all the other ratings as well as mine it’s just not working well BRO). accusing a customer of lying isn’t gonna get me to try it again. I did try the app and I wasn’t able to register... maybe the ads wouldn’t even allow me to open the app to even attempt to register? Edit: So they finally replied to my review I wrote FOUR YEARS ago, and obviously don’t understand sarcasm. My point then was, that the app was pointless. Now, judging by their highly unprofessional responses to other reviews, I still wouldn’t download this app. **Developer response:** It let you create, search, download recipes. You then can transfer it on to your Supercook appliance by wifi and follow the guided cooking instruction. ### 1/5 — Bad *2019-11-03* This is a bad app, it’s asking me to connect to supercool WiFi. It stuck in a different language and I don’t know how to change it. It wants me to log in to view my profile but I’m already logged in **Developer response:** The Supercook App is made for the Supercook appliance but it can also be used just to browse recipes. Therefore you will not need to connect to any wifi. Please read our APP description ### 2/5 — Enter items *2020-03-24* I read this was suppose to give you recipes based off items in your fridge/pantry. Where is the option for that? I’ve clicked everything and it’s not there OR it’s just not clear ? Only options I have are to input recipes. Aren’t YOU suppose to give me those??
